If the guy has more than 2 brain cells to rub together he's taken it down..he must have. But..the internets, are forever!

I'm still thinking, there needs to be confirmation though. Still a killer either way.

Agreed
I wouldnt be surprised with the narrative some are trying to spin. But those kinds are like a force of nature, they'd have no ammo to work with if dirtbags like this killer and his accomplices wouldn't provide it

I have watched the video a dozen times now, I eagerly await the FBIs findings

I watched this and the way the cop kept his knee on the suspect long enough to kill him was ridiculous. I see no evidence to support the cop's actions here. Not after the guy was detained. This is the crap that gives other police a bad name.

The part where the cop had his hand casually in his pocket along with a calm expression on his face as he's murdering him while already handcuffed is so f#king disgusting!

What do you bet that this cop has killed a few people like this?

He looks too comfortable.

Like I said earlier, these incidents happen several times a day in America. In this day and age, you need to have a video of the murder in order for it to make the news, or go viral on social media.

If there was no video of this murder, or of the Black man by the two Red Necks in Georgia, none of us would know these incidents happened.

There is this black guy just being let go from jail, BIG time pedo, even got caught in prison sharing kid porn of his and others with other inmates. Cops warning public he’s being released saying this guy worst of the worst, so sorry, This guy deserves much more than a knee to the neck

Please give me a link to this information. Even if true, cops are not jury and executioner.

Why even bother replying to the poster named Tayton. He is a known racist. Heck, even his own daughter is disgusted by him and calls him a racist.

Minneapolis has strict gun laws. Nobody on the streets carry, or almost nobody. Kicking the cop would have gotten you shot in the heart immediately. There's no good scenario here.

**shaking head**

Somehow it always comes back to bad bad 2nd amendment BS... with NO grasp of the reality of things. Just use ANY circumstance to bash the 2nd and gun owners. Sad...

I don't grasp what you're saying here. Do you think that I'm bashing the 2nd?

Nope, the guy both you and I were responding to. Unless Im mistaken.

Id never think YOU were an anti 2nd sort of person. LOL!!

Just making sure. Lol. I thought I was misreading what you said and just had to clarify.

Yeah I looked at the Murder 3 and couldn't make much sense out of it since I've never really researched it. Apparently it's only a sentence in 3 states (MN being one of them). All I know is the family doesn't need to seek the worst of the worst because the crime won't fit and it'll only make things worse, regardless of how we all feel.

I initially thought his hand was in his pocket as well, but I’m quite sure he’s wearing gloves and they’re blending in with his pants.

Other thoughts- if the killer is indeed the same guy white the Make Whites Great Again hat, I can see this blowing up. It’s felt, to me, as if we’ve been teetering on the edge of all out chaos, whether it’s racial tension, political tension....there’s tension. I’m not sure we’re at the point where we can just take a national chill pill, hit our reset buttons and re-boot. The media will inflate this balloon until it pops. People need to stop giving them balloons to inflate.

Officer Derek Chauvin has been identified as the officer pinning down Floyd in the now-viral video, which shows Floyd saying he can’t breathe repeatedly before losing consciousness. Floyd later died. Four officers on scene have been fired. They have not yet been officially identified by department officials.

Chauvin, 44, is a 19-year department veteran. Department records and news accounts show that he has been involved in several police-involved shootings over his career.

In 2008, Chauvin shot and wounded Ira Latrell Toles during a domestic assault call. According to a 2011 article from the Pioneer Press, Chauvin and other officers showed up to an apartment in south Minneapolis just before 2 a.m. Toles grabbed for an officer’s gun and Chauvin shot him in the abdomen.

In 2006, Chauvin and five others responded to a stabbing. After Wayne Reyes, 42, allegedly pulled a shotgun on the officers, one of the officers shot and killed Reyes, according to a report titled “Stolen Lives” from Communities United Against Police Brutality, a police watchdog nonprofit based in Minneapolis.

The other officer identified in the video is Tou Thao. According to a deposition he gave in a 2017 lawsuit, Thao started with the department as a community service officer. He went through the academy in 2009. He was laid off for two years and returned to the department in 2012.

Another of the officers, from a video of Monday's incident on Facebook.
In 2017, Lamar Ferguson sued Thao and another officer, Robert Thunder, for excessive use of force. According to the lawsuit, Ferguson and a woman who was eight months pregnant were walking home when Thao and Thunder stopped and searched them without cause. The officers handcuffed Ferguson, and Thao threw him to the ground and began punching him, while Thunder kicked him, according to the allegations.

The officers took Ferguson to the hospital for medical treatment. Afterward, they escorted Ferguson to jail wearing only his underwear and T-shirt, rejecting hospital staff’s requests that he be allowed to fully dress, according to the complaint.

In a deposition, Thao said they arrested Ferguson due to an outstanding arrest warrant. He said he only punched Ferguson after one of Ferguson’s hands slipped out of the handcuffs.

“He tries to pull away,” Thao said in the deposition. “And he puts his hands on me and tries to give me a stiff arm in a way to try to get me off of him. After — at this point he’s actively resisting arrest. He — so I had no choice but to punch him. I punched him in the face. It causes him to pause a bit which gives Officer Thunder the time to come around and help.”

The case settled out of court for $25,000, according to Seth Leventhal, one of Ferguson’s attorneys.

Looks like you may be correct

Unless we have some really good photoshop artists, I'm afraid it is. Someone captured him wearing the infamous hat here...Chauvin cop in Make Whites Great Again hat

Only time will tell what other sort of debauchery this piece of filth was involved in.

This guy is a card carrying scumbag. I don't care if you resist. I don't care if you talk back to cops. No one deserves this.

I was that guy once. I was beat up in my own home by two St Pete cops after I called them to my home. Long story short...Broken nose. Black Eye. Slammed me to the ground so hard it broke my glasses. The nose came from a knee to face while on the ground. Pepper Spray. I had an asthma attack and as I was pleading to breathe I remember they threw me in the back of the cop car and I could not breathe. If not for another cop who responded who opened the door I do not know what would have happened to me. The thing I remember from the whole thing was the cold eyes and smirk like this guy.

Let him go to gen pop and see how long his white power ass lives.

Black on black gun violence is much much worse that any potential abuse by law enforcement. For every story like this one there are 100 plus a month on black on black gun violence. Media should be ashamed of themselves not addressing it. Black people as well. It's a severe problem that is never addressed.

You’re correct, of course, but the news media and Left are only interested when a black person is killed or mistreated by a white person. They don’t give a damn about the far greater number of whites killed or robbed by blacks. Or the even greater number of blacks killed or mistreated by other blacks. It’s ridiculous. Let us ignore reality because the truth is disagreeable.

In the 10-year period from 2007-2016, just under 60 percent of all nonfatal gunshot victims treated in ERs (whose race or ethnicity was recorded) were black — more than 260,000 of them.

Why is this not a huge story, not even for a single day? Why aren’t so-called black leaders making this a top issue in black communities? The hypocrisy and self-delusion are sickening.

During the same time period, 2007-2016, 57 percent of all people murdered by firearms were black. Guess who’s shooting and killing all these black people? Hint: It’s not whitey. And it’s been going on for decades. Where are the courageous journalists? Where are the enlightened, self-righteous liberals and progressives who care so very much about African Americans?

Am I being racist for pointing out these unpleasant truths? Is it ever racist to tell the truth? At least I care enough to address this tragic bloodbath.

Yes, you are being racist for pointing out these "unpleasant truths" because the only reason you're bringing this up is to deflect from this news story. If you cared about black-on-black violence as much as your post suggests, where were you last week? Or the week before? Why wait until this story drops to bring it up? Any advice on how to address or fix the issue?

If you can watch a video of a police officer, whose sworn duty is to protect and serve his community(which includes any suspects), straight up kill a handcuffed man while three other cops sit back and watch, and your first reaction is: "well black on black violence is a much bigger issue and the evil LIBERAL MEDIA doesn't want to talk about it" then yes, you are being racist.
