Not sure I agree. The more time goes by the worse memories get, and the more questions I have about why someone would wait so long.

What makes much more sense to me is to add a provision for a judge to grant a waiver of the statute of limitations, if the prosecution can show reasonable cause as to why it should be waived.

The fact that you've never been on a jury has you arguing from ignorance. I've been on a few and we were instructed on what parts of the testimony and evidence were inadmissible by the Judge. When we went to deliberation we did not consider the inadmissible portions.

One thing I liked in the press conference was the investigators giving exact instructions on how victims and witnesses to reach them
