Most definitely. Jesus was Jewish in tradition and not a Christian. He disputed the corrupt ness of elites (San Hedrin) but stated over and over again he was not changing the Old Testament simply clarifying the truth of it. Judaism was his faith and belief. Romans created Christianity to try to create harmony of multi- beliefs.

Some folks, no matter their beliefs or idealogies, will be extreme and corrupted, but most are simply having faith in a better peaceful world. It is unfortunate that the extremely corrupted always get the most news.

Eh, depending on what flavor of white supremacist he thinks he is, he could be Christian Identity. That would qualify as saying he's Christian for some, especially the more anti-Christian. In reality, it's about as Christian as the Black Hebrew Israelities are Jewish.

And let's be plain, there has been plenty of anti-Semitism to go around all over the world lately. But when you have the NYT publishing political cartoons that push common anti-Semitic tropes and Congresscritters that make anti-Semitic statements and buddy up openly to anti-Semites, is it any wonder that anti-Semites of any kind are emboldened?

And with that churches/Synagogue/Mosque fires etc, I have to wonder if all of these things are connected and not just coincidence. It almost seems like we're watching switches being flipped.

First story I read said an armed person at the synagogue as well as multiple people inside jumped the gunmen before he could do more damage.
