Most people on this board don't capitalize and/or punctuate properly. Go figure.

Thank you. Can you get that memo over to Krakatoa?

Were they in fact "Muslim"?

No they where in fact Christian. That's why they where in a Mosque.

Next stupid question.

Thanks for the informed reply.
Seems the muslims that attacked them thought differently, perhaps you should read what you link?

You were also referring to the action.

I was pointing out that you are being hypocritical in calling me out when a christian is doing the same thing in this very thread.

The word apology is in my vocabulary but I will not apologize for sometimes not using caps. You even bringing it up like it is a big deal is ridiculous.

Ridiculous? Really? Thank you oh arbiter of all that it right. I definitely HAVE been called out on lack of proper capitalization of that was well as the proper capitalization of the personal pronoun of their deity.

Just because YOU think it is not a big deal does not mean that it is not a big deal to those that are offended. What happened to the empathy we are supposed to have toward others and their particular choice of words that do not offend them. When told, you should respect that, regardless if it is a case of Zhe, She, or the name of their religion.

Not tell them it's not a big deal and they are overreacting. After all, that is what we are told is the proper protocol for alternative and fluid gender references.

You do realise that Sunni & Shia Muslims don't get along to well?

Same faith, different ideals.

Just in case you missed that.

No, it isn't because it is based only on the content of this thread.

Let me guess, you thought I was saying you were the most outraged christian in the world? Tsk, tsk.

I don't care because they are also doing it, so it obviously isn't offending them, but honestly, I wouldn't care if it is offending someone. Are we not all trying to bring down that PC monster that has everyone walking on eggshells?

The gender thing is a strawman. It has nothing to do with what I posted.

It's not a strawman as it relates to the actions we have been beaten over the head to follow for gender pronouns. So, it should equally apply to religious references.

Again, I don't think this would be quite an issue if they'd just said worshippers because then most people would have assumed they meant Christians the same way everyone assumed both The Telegraph and Trump were referring to Muslims because who else would be worshiping?

The problem was in trying to get all PC fancy. They created a phrasing that made it sound like people were in fact worshiping Easter, the day itself.

But you have heard of observing customs and observing holidays I am sure.

I hope so or perhaps you need to read more because that is a pretty common phrase used in regards to religious holidays.
Or as they are sometimes called ... religious observations.

This is kind of pointless to argue.

They are not saying what you are claiming they are saying.

Neart, so if 290+ Muslims are killed and over 500 more are injured during Ramadan, we can forget it was a terrorist attack against Muslims and just call them Ramadan worshippers.

It could almost be progress.

Christians don't worship Easter. They worship Christ.

It truly was a great example of yet another reason to hate politicians.

They were worshipping on Easter.

Like "sunday drivers", who actually drove cars, not sundays.

ETA: I also noticed that most also mentioned tourists and travelers to include the hotel bombings.

Hahahha, that's your pathetic excuse for them using the phrase?

Just admit it. Christians are worth less to Democrats.

JUST ADMIT IT.

I know you don't care. That is obvious. You do not respect others so why should others have respect for you? Respect is not given, it's earned. And you have displayed that you have not earned one iota of respect.

As an agnostic theist of the pagan persuasion, I don't have a dog in the fight so to speak.

But I was raised (and still live) in the Deep South, where you can throw a rock in any direction and hit a Christian church.

Never once in my more than third of a century on this rock with a Southern Baptist/Methodist upbringing have I heard the terms "Easter Observers" or "Easter Worshippers".

The Ministry of Truth is hard at work shoving things down the memory hole...

It really is a strange phrase. Easter worshiper.

Is it? That's what we called it growing up.

When did it become strange to go to Easter worship?
