We live sheltered lives down here in the boonies !

We have Dunkin Donuts that is massively popular. There is another donut place but off the top of my head, I don't recall the name of the place.

We had a Tim Hortons in the city once and they didn't last long. I know they are popular in Canada.

Now I want donuts.

I don't get exercise because of pain and have gained so much weight, plus all my meds don't help and I do like to eat. I would love some healthy crockpots recipes. Something easy and that actually tastes good without all the fat and sodium. Good luck with that right? LOL

They were bought out by Burger King (booo) so they might go international with it. There are a few over seas locations but not many yet.

We have Burger King and McDonalds everywhere. I don't go there. I always said that if someone could come up with a healthy fast food restaurant, they would be rich! Between all the overweight people and elderly and others with health problems and those who are just disciplined and eat right...they would make a killing!

I don't eat fast food often, although when I do, it's BK lol. I love whoppers with "cheese".

So what veggies did you add to your stir fry?

I have an old recipe from an International weight watchers cookbook that was so yummy and can't remember all the ingredients. It had chicken cutlets, onions, dried apricots, dates, ground cloves etc. Sounded like such a strange combination, but YUM!

Subway tried that route. Sounds good but the breakdown makes it little better than the others. 😏

Yes we have that and another similar place, but it's mostly sandwiches and salads. Would be nice to have more of a variety, but yeah, good idea, haven't been in a while. This week my friend and I are going to a place called the Beef Barn. They have quite a variety of things and cheap too. They even have veggie burgers now.

Eye fillet, beans, carrot, cauliflower, capsicum and onion.
The steak is marinated for a couple of hours in the terryaki.

Q) What's the difference between an egg and a beetroot ?

A) You can beat an egg.

I'm laughing because my friends and I would often go to Denny's and then they started listing the calories on their menu and I almost died! I was like...That can't be! No! Haven't been there in quite a while now. LOL

I'm not much into fries, but they sure have a varied and yummy selection. Love their breakfasts! Luckily, we found a place with great breakfasts for really cheap.

People are going to come wandering in later thinking WTH they keep talking about food. LOL We will make them hungry.

Ok, I thought so. I would use that sparingly. Not big on pepper or spicy things, though do enjoy it mild. The dragons love spicy!
