I think it varies just like everywhere else. I have been blessed to have really strong men in my family. My stepdad is great, he works hard, has a good sense of humor and is very good towards my mom. My stepbrother has a woman he lives with and they have a 2 year old daughter. Jobs, house, car, you know... And my stepsister's husband is really down to earth, strong when needed but caring and gentle. Really the kind of people i want to learn from, to not to be lost anymore.

Hi everyone ! Hope all is well.

I have been a little busy on here trying to change things to the way ATS use to be. Hope it is working. I have seen to many other sites just die out because of politics and lack of interests.

Anyways, happy labor day for those of us that have tomorrow off !

I fully and totally understand you. What i have found useful, is to browse topic-specific forums, not only the live page.

I can relate as I am also the black sheep of the family, but I no longer carry the shame of it. I managed to let it all go and live as I want. It feels good to do that.

I often star and flag posts without commenting to let the OP know the thread is appreciated. A lot of times, people have already commented and my reply would be redundant because I would have said what was already posted in someone else's reply.
