Ottawa animator sent to prison on child porn charges

An Ottawa artist who helped animate children’s TV shows has been sentenced to 28 months in prison for possessing more than 60,000 images of child pornography and sharing them online.

Tom Wysom, 55, has worked on TV productions such as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Littlest Pet Shop, according to the Internet Movie Database.

Wysom was sentenced earlier this month after pleading guilty to the charges in December, two months after police executed a search warrant at his home in Old Ottawa South.

Earlier this year, the Court of Appeal for Ontario noted there were now so many reports of child porn-related crime in Ottawa that investigators had to triage their work by “how bad the child pornography is.”

Timothy Blixseth claims that he saw records from a government contractor proving that Obama CIA director John Brennan oversaw repeated spying on the phone calls of President Donald Trump and millions of other private American citizens. An audiotape of an interview Blixseth gave –released by Federal Judge G. Murray Snow as part of a civil case

“This guy showed me 900 million phone calls. And I see myself in there. I see people I know. I see Donald Trump in there a zillion times, and Bloomberg is in there,” Blixseth said on the tape, referring to information that a whistleblower named Dennis Montgomery allegedly showed him.

Dennis Montgomery is a computer expert, former CIA and NSA contractor and whistleblower who is represented by attorney Larry Klayman. Klayman urges House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes to call Montgomery to testify about his work on the alleged secret program.

“[Montgomery] said, ‘What I really did as a government subcontractor was, I hacked into all of America for Brennan and Clapper.’ And I said, wow, that’s pretty heavy stuff. Can you prove it?…Finally, he starts giving more evidence, more evidence. And it just, it just blew me away. So I call Fox News. And Carl Cameron, you know the reporter? Carl’s been there 27 years and I trust Carl. Carl came flying out with his film crew and they filmed for a week.

“He’s pissed off at the administration. He got a death threat in writing last week,” Blixseth said of Montgomery.
