Pmsl! Tropical Britain!!!

We do have imported palm trees here but the local council wrap them up in 'blankets' through the winter lol
I've never experienced a real storm like you guys have in the states. When I see film of it on the TV news I'm like wow.
I'd love to see a tornado in real life one day, I know weird huh, but it must be crazy living in places that get them regular.
The sun has just peeped out and I can see a patch of blue sky
EDIT
We had a bad storm a few years ago which cut a huge chunk of south west England off from the railway. Brunel built probably the prettiest rail line in England along the seashore a hundred odd years ago but it gets a battering every year. There is talk of a new line inland especially with sea level rises.

Good morning CCG and bantercafeinians, I'll have a strong coffee in bed, thanks.

Hey CCG, I think building rail lines inland would seem the smartest move these days, what with global warming and the advent of super storms which are prompting a call for a new Category 6 on the wind scale. It looks like someone there is using their noggin.

"The current intensity scale doesn't capture the fact that a 10 mph increase in sustained wind speeds ups the damage potential by 20 percent," Mann said. "That's not a subtle effect. It's one that we can see." Based on the spacing of Categories 1-5, there should be a Category 6 approaching peak winds of 190 mph, he said. Creating a new warning level for unprecedented storms could help save lives. When Typhoon Haiyan, one of the strongest tropical cyclones on record, hit the Philippines in 2013, people died in shelters that had been designed to withstand a historic storm surge but still flooded.

Good morning!
Strong coffee haha you are my sista!
I live on a cliff by the sea, maybe if I live long enough my street will be a little island, I'm a good 100m above sea level.

Good morning? Yes it is so far.

Ha I don't doubt your cliff may become a little island but we won't be around to see it, or will we?

Just lounging around drinking coffee trying to put off all the work I have laid out for myself (it's my own fault).

For sure, but I have to prepare the spare room for my daughter and her boyfriend to move in next Saturday, so time's running out.

You sound like my hubby. But, being a rhbb of a parent goes against my nature, so I'll probably end up moving that heavy furniture myself and pull a few muscles doing it.

That song is so amazing, that guy was incredible

Hello everyone! Trip turned crazy so it was cut short, too bad :/

So still got a few pics, not the ones i hoped for but oh well

Before anything else, love the picture on your profile

Getting to town

Town from above

A view from some small houses and some Agave plants bottom center, that's where tekila comes from

There is nothing around this part

Driving away and to the silence and wilderness < 3
Only wind sounds here, getting dark and being out there, with no sounds and so far away from everything has a very weird feeling to it

Now back home and checking the fridge, maybe there's something to eat lol
Yes! ice cream! Everything as must be

Only had a bit of chicken and mexican rice from last Friday, whatever dinner for me tonight

Have a good day/night/afternoon guys!

Your pics are cool, how come the trip was cut short, mountain lion attack?
At least you had one meal in the fridge lmao, and ice cream fixes everything.
Haven't listened to the Smiths in a while, I'll play them now, and thanks about avatar pic haha, I was so young when that was taken, my hair is so dark compared to now!
