First, congratulating Putin in nothing but a social response. Both know it.

That's not how states view these things. Trump nearly started a war early in his Presidency by taking a call from Taiwan which the US isn't supposed to recognize.

LOL. China ran a trial balloon to see how Trump would respond. No more. If China would go to war over a phone call, which Trump had every right to do, then we're all screwed anyways.

At least for me, the perpetual 'fear of war' template has worn out. I say look them in the eye and tell 'em 'go for it' , guess what? That gives them pause....

In fact the Chinese rhetoric which came almost weekly from China about war with the U.S., has virtually ceased since Trump took office. Sorry, but I see him handling the international issues very well.

Except NATO, who are all bought/paid for by the same folks as the US. They are #NeverTrump, too

No argument from me on that score. Trump even got movement from NATO when he threatened to leave the organization-I wish he had- and at least got them to form an anti-terrorist unit and funded it.

Hopefully, NATO has only been relegated to a back burner. Off the top, it looks like NATO in now being run by the EU.

It is possible he's doing what he believes is best for the country

Why would congratulating the guy who screwed up our election and attempted to murder those folks in Salisbury be best for our country?
Just explain that to me.

While I believe Donald Trump is petty enough to disregard his advisors advice just to spite the investigation into him, it may also be that Putin has dirt on him and he doesn't want to push his luck. Time will tell.

It says a lot that he would play around with our nations security just to spite people he doesn't like.

Congratulating Putin, is "playing around" with National Security ? Really ? How is acting on or not acting on advice, spiting the investigation into him ? Is the Mueller team, and his cabinet advisors the same people ?

Read up on the Russian election. You'll find out who he killed and who he just threw out of Russia so that the people had no choice. I hope you'll find it helpful. They really did a disservice to the good people of Russia.

The only orders Trump follows is from Russia

You are off the rails.

Please explain how the only orders Trump follows is from Russia?

Its clear to anyone looking, Trump, is a Russian spy

I believe the Steel dossier

Trump is a Russian spy and you believe the Steele dossier.
That makes your delusional beliefs clear to anyone looking?

The Steele Dossier on Trump and Russia Is Looking More and More Real

As time goes by, more and more of the claims first reported by Steele have been borne out. In general, there is a split between the credibility afforded the dossier by the mainstream media and by intelligence professionals. The former treat it is gossip; the latter take it seriously. Unverified private reporting should not be taken as gospel truth, and no doubt some of the tips Steele picked up are false. But we should probably be giving far more weight to the possibility that the darkest interpretation of Trump’s relations with Russia is actually true.

Trump is their boy

Your quote in essentially states, 'While we know a lot of it is fake, and nothing has really been proven ; We know deep down inside, it just has to be true.'

That's, ridiculous.

Because they are pro life.
Pro life of the people in Europe whos countries are all too small individually and have had dictators roll over them when they didn't act as one. I'm pretty sure we've made the world a better place since WWII because of NATO, because of the United nations, because of the example that We have set since we started this little experiment in decomracy.
Now this corrupt dog wants to drag our name through the mud.

Where's the democracy in the EU? They've ended up with a dictator anyways. It's called the 'EU'. Appointed officials, not elected with arbitrary rules and 'visions' that they have no mandate for.

Beyond relief efforts, just what has the U.N done for us? Make money for 'connected' . Build up their own status. Not much more.

NATO? Great at one time. Now? As about as effective as the EU, itself. We have 330 million. EU has around 450 million. They have their own nukes, great aircraft, outstanding tanks by multiple nations. Nuclear subs, aircraft carriers, on and on. They even have their own MIC and are more than capable of defending themselves.

If they're so wonderful, let them take care of themselves, instead of bleeding our coffers. We can make bilateral agreements with those nations that are still allied with the U.S..

"Better place" is subjective, and arguable.

If you mean we've made it better for folks living in the northern hemisphere and Australia...sure. On the backs of asia, africa, and south/central america.

I think NATO is a great concept: Europe and America allying. We are of the same cloth, and share cultures. The execution is lopsided, and corrupted.

I have to LOL at the "pro life" comment.

I really don't care if he congratulated Putin, I personally think it was the wrong move for him at this particular time.

I have voted in presidential elections since 1969. I voted for both Bushes , I also voted for Reagan. I will always vote person not party. I did not mention the Democrats I voted for because I realise this is an extremely right website. However I can assure you I did not vote for Trump or Clinton.

I did a lot of research on both candidates before the election , while I do know some of the information out there is suspect, I found the information very unpleasant. Neither candidate fit my standards of ethical behavior. I do understand that morality and honesty are certainly not prerequisites for the office of President of the United States of America ,it should be very high on everyone's list.

To gage ones honesty and or moral character one must ask themselves, is this the way I would like my son or daughter to behave? If the answer is no and you vote for said person, then you have, in my opinion, failed as a true American.

I have yet to witness anything in the current administration that would indicate the values those of which I just spoke. It is my sincere hope that in future elections more people will see things the way I do.

Terry, I don't know if you really care or not, but since you asked, I'll offer my opinion. My wife is likely the smartest, most efficient person I have ever met. She excels at any job she does. She gives me advice on all sorts of topics. And history proves that she was right way more often then she was wrong. Yet I still find myself doing the opposite of what she suggested from time to time. And no, it doesn't always work out in my best interests.

She likes to say I'm hard headed. But with all that, somehow, we get by. Maybe, just maybe, Trump is a little hard headed. A guy who was into psychology might even agree based on his profile.

Why would it be a bad thing. Obama congratulated Putin. The only people that don't want peace are the Warmongering Deep State.

I would congrats Putin. Since when did Dems become War Hawks?

Big deal.
As a slight to Leftists everywhere, I would like to congratulate Putin as well.

How does praising Vladimir Putin rigging an election slight "Leftists"?
Should it not bother anyone that believes in Democracy or is it your position that rigging elections is the Right Wing's platform?

Are you aware that several CCTV videos have now leaked from Russia showing Poll Workers literally stuffing the Ballot Boxes in Russia?

It remains a confusing irony that right wing zealots consistently vehemently accuse Democrats of a given illicit activity (Rigging elections, Sexual Predation, lack of transparency, corruption etc. etc.) only to enthusiastically defend and celebrate when a right wing politician (or in this case a Russian Dictator) is clearly shown to be engaging in that criminality.

Accusation of Election rigging (Dems) - An assault on Democracy!
Proof of election rigging (Vladimir Putin) - Awesome! Congratulations!

The husband of HRC cheats on his wife? - Horrible!! Disgusting!
Donald Trump cheats on his wife and accused of sexually assaulting 12+ women? - Awesome!

Transparency?
Corruption?
Ungodly waste of your taxpayer money? 100K vacations by VA Director? 30K dinnerware sets for Ben Carson?

All great!! Awesome! As long as it bothers Dems.

The GOP was once a noble party, but has been reduced to a collection of bitter trolls defending corruption and foreign criminal dictators.

Any branch of the Justice Department or Intelligence Community that provides facts or evidence that Donald Trump dislikes.

Yes a simple question and a simple answer from a simple mind.
There are those who believe him to be a whizz, a guy who is leading a revolt against the establishment and the man in charge of MAGA. And for those I suppose it is enough to rely upon the held belief that he is working to the best of his ability to make America great again. The ''just let him do it'' people.

But for others of us this is not the case. For others of us he is the president who promised to find the best people to serve us. Many voted for him because of this promise. That he would call upon all of his great contacts and associates to help right the course of our nation while taking it back from the swamp critters. That promise even had me hoping for a short while.

However he seems not to have hired the best people but rather hired his family and others who according to reports are leaving in droves either through their own volition or are as in one case, escorted from the building by security.

Bringing to peoples attention that he is not following the advice of hand picked advisers, the best people, might be disconcerting to any and all the people who voted for him and his promises. For those who do not care how he operates I guess it doesn't matter.

Kinda like maybe he doesn't have all the best people around him because he's rat cleaning the sewer first. What's Putin got to do with anything?

I suppose it can be looked at in that way. However he was supposed to have all these great contacts from the business world and all the people who he chummed with in all his dealings. He was going to gather them together to maga. However the question has arisen, has he? Has he waded into the swamp to get these people? Has he appointed people to positions of influence around him after finding them in the swamp? Where are the great and best people he had promised to gather from the start so they could hit the ground running. Many of us look at his advisors and have to wonder, wow, how is it that so many of them are being fired, leaving or as in one case being escorted out of the WH by security.
