Its his job to make decisions. No one elected his advisors.

No, he chose them because they were "the best people.'

Also, Russia didn't poison the ex spy in the UK. Why on earth would he condemn them for something WE probably did.

Part of our effort to help Putin win the election, I assume.

You mean like Obama?

Obama ignores generals’ advice on troop levels for unprecedented sixth time

Obama did not choose the generals.

If you are naive enough to believe that it is the first time that Russia and a number of other countries we consider allies have "interfered" in our election then you should perhaps not be allowed to vote.

The FEC just fined a group of democrats, you may know them by the name Bernie Sanders for allowing Australians to participate in the election process. We do our fair share of meddling as well, many times we have removed individuals we didn't approve of in foreign elections we didn't approve of.

As for verified and untrue and the difference between them...as I said Steele just gave a sworn deposition and was not able to verify any of the allegations. Buzz feed has hired a team of former FBI agents whom for the last year have attempted to verify any of the material but have been unable to. Since they are about to go out of business because of it, they darn sure want to prove the allegations but cannot or it would already have been front page news.

The fact that the allegations come from foreign intelligence sources, the same individuals accused of meddling in the election provided the dossier information should be a big tell for ya but apparently some are unable to comprehend fact from fiction unless it agrees with a particular partisan view.

So lame, I'm sure you can google and find many other examples:

Gates recalled one of the most egregious incidents, in which Obama decided to follow the advice of three national security junior backbenchers, rather than an entire team of experts.

“The entire national security team recommended unanimously handling Mubarak differently than we did,” Gates said in a Fox News interview. “And the president took the advice of three junior backbenchers in terms of how to treat Mubarak — one of them saying, ‘Mr. President, you have to be on the right side of history.'”

I see you prefer a system where some people are not allowed to vote.

Thats like the radar specialist on a naval vessel telling the captain who to shoot or where to go.

Everyone has a job and the one in charge makes the decisions based on their RECOMMENDATIONS.

Kennedy's advisors wanted to nuke Russia preemptively and vice versa.

Its good when one person or group with more information decides what to do over focussed yet otherwise single minded people. One person or group with less knowledge can be wrong at times.

But this is news to you I am sure.

Of course he's going to say he'll hire the best people. Everybody who hires anybody is going to strive for the best people. What do you people expect him to say?

"I'm gonna get some mediocre people, maybe a couple bad apples, and one or two fairly hard-working individuals."

I have a clearance. Clearances deal with how you handle information. Most clearances are for national security, with some emphasis on the state department.

I have multiple clearances too

If I say more I will get arrested and sent to gitmo.

Doesn't seem to be working with Trump's administration...

So I am all for forcing the government workers to prove national security before classification, rather than Americans having to prove otherwise after.

Want to join me?

I agree, but I'm talking more about the inner conversations that should remain private. When I'm in a Manager meeting things are said all the time that is considered close hold...we don't run out a tell everyone what is said in our meetings, but it seems with the president he might as well have his private meetings all open public form as private as them seem to be.
