Make of this what you will.

I have now received confirmation from a well placed FCO source that Porton Down scientists are not able to identify the nerve gas as being of Russian manufacture, and have been resentful of the pressure being placed on them to do so. Porton Down would only sign up to the formulation “of a type developed by Russia” after a rather difficult meeting where this was agreed as a compromise formulation

FCO is abbreviation for Foreign & Commonwealth Office for ATS non U.K. members.

Makes sense. The victim has been outed as an associate of Christopher Steele, and wax mixed up in his dossier fiasco. The most likely culprits are MI6, trying to tie up loose ends.

Also, any first-world nation can make any known chemical compound. It's childishly stupid to suggest that the compound could only have come from Russia (or anywhere else).

I agree, with Trump having sued Buzzfeed, Steele with his
Criminal Referral to the DOJ they need to keep this under
wraps. The easiest way to do it is leave no one to talk.

And at least half of ATS

Anyhoo, seems like this is a no-brainer, but let's see how far and wide this gets reported by the 'news'.

There seems to be a trend to get the BS out there as hard and fast and loud as possible and then later, make amendments and retractions quietly and/or under a mountain of other BS.

Even if they do report this story; too late, damage done. There will be enough people out there who will forever remember the time that "Britain knew for a fact that Russia poisoned that guy"

As an interesting, not entirely unrelated, side note; Derren Brown talks about perception management in one of his books. Reads a lot like this actually.

We've seen this played out in BOLD in US politics over the last 18 months (not that it hasn't always happened, but recently it seems to be happening ON STEROIDS).

Seems to work pretty consistently.

It's an oldie but a goodie eh..

The political fallout is real though.

That was manufactured here.

EDIT TO ADD:
This shows that the players do kill people as part of a lie. They are willing to poison us en masse if necessary.

Too true. This is a classic "Wag the dog" situation. The UK/EU's hate crime laws have created what is literally a fascist police state, complete with thought crime laws straight out an Orwell novel. They desperately need an external enemy to deflect on.

This is a very serious development, imo.

Let's assume for a moment the Russians are not responsible. What explains the sudden desire of everyone to blame the Russians for this?

Confused.

So it’s of a type developed by Russia as such there are two possibilities either the Russian state were behind it or they have lost control of it.

This is pretty much what has been said all along I don’t quite see how this changes anything

The formulas were published by the inventor nearly 10 years ago. Because this is made by combining two common agricultural ingredients, any state actor or group with means could have done this.

Opera won't let me go to that site, unless you have another page for Murray!
Anyway, let's be clear, Prime Minister May did leave the door about that open somewhat, "It's most likely Russia" I think was the term used, and it looked pretty much that she was leaving it up to Russia to disprove it...putting the ball in Russia's court as I have said before on a different thread unrelated.

It is quite possible that the nerve 'gas' whatever came from an Eastern European country now indedpendent from Russia...Uzbekistan for instance, could well have had it, and did at one time, and from there could have ended up anywhere with anybody.

It looks very like the UK needs to nab who's responsible in person, before taking any more action.

Yes the formulation.

He has also said he believes it was Russia and has explained that the trick is not the formulation but the production process

So this poster "Craig Murray" states America did it as his opinion on his blog, and we're meant to believe it more than Putin and Russia did it, who have previously killed former Russians on British soil?

Ummm...actually...that's not what was stated...

The following is...

I have now received confirmation from a well placed FCO source that Porton Down scientists are not able to identify the nerve gas as being of Russian manufacture, and have been resentful of the pressure being placed on them to do so. Porton Down would only sign up to the formulation “of a type developed by Russia” after a rather difficult meeting where this was agreed as a compromise formulation.

Bolding added...

You can see by these statements that Porton Down was pressured into that statement your clinging to and are resentful they were pressured into making the statement that it was "of a type developed by Russia"...

Far cry from what your trying to claim...

Craig Murray has held positions in The Foreign & Commonwealh Office from the mid 1980's to 2004

He is also the former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan.

Again, make of that what you will.

Amen brother. This is part of the framing of Russia for crimes they did not do. Did it all start with MH17? Who knows, but that was certainly a big part of it.

This is a clear propaganda offensive against Russia and for war.

Did you see the news the other day where "Carlos" came forward and admitted to being paid $48,000 by the Russians to say he was an air traffic controller in Ukraine?

But yeah, let's continue with this narrative that the Russians are as pure as the driven snow and are being persecuted by the rest of the world.
