She may have held some space in his mind that attributed to his reasoning for doing what he did, however, innocent victim or not, she did not pull the trigger.

Maybe if he kept his hands to himself and didn't molest someone in their sleep, then get caught..he wouldn't of felt he had to take the cowards way out.
