"Trump has spoken! And I'm repeating him!"

Wow you guys have to hate this news. I mean wow really sucks for your side and a big win for team America.

Oh yeah.

Buying an athletes jersey is a real win for America.

They're not kidding when they talk about the "poorly educated."

This is why freedom is so great. Some can choose to kneel, sit, others can choose to stand.

Some can #boycotttheNFL, others can support an athlete who stood for the Anthem.

Without even realizing it, these people are taking for granted and seeing the fruits of the very thing they're condemning many athletes for, lol.

I'm not confused at all. It's really rather simple - it's not that "we don't want politics in our sports," it's that "we don't want politics we disagree with in our sports."

This thread is a PERFECT example.

Those who are claiming "no politics in sports are now considering this athlete, who belongs in sports who is selling the most jerseys, as a "win for America," which is indeed political.

It's interesting.

Why must you always try and insult? Talk about poorly edumacted...

Probably because people are legitimately stupid and it's a fair thing to say?

Why must you resort to cherry-picking fallacies and leaving out the rest of the post? Yup, poorly educated indeed.

It's easy to follow the crowd. It takes a trite more grit to stand against them.

"The crowd," has primarily stood for years.

With your logic, those who chose to kneel showed more grit.

pittsburgh.cbslocal.com...

No doubt he is getting threats and coercive comments directed at him now.

"No doubt?"

Source for that claim?

Ok, who or what is funding this "knee down" campaign ?

It's not spontaneous.

It's well organized and somebody is paying somebody.

Who is it ?

I have to admit it does take balls to kneel when everyone is standing, but doing so for a popular myth like "hands up don't shoot" isn't much of a stretch.

No. He couldn't choose to stand.

He was forced to apologize for doing it. If he had to apologize, then he wasn't free to stand for it.

It's meant as a show of solidarity for the dead BLACK thugs( We don't CARE about our thugs as whites ,theCOPS kill more of us anyway WE get it,WE CAN use guns with professional skill) and against reactionary cops ,to insult the country NATIONALLY, which DOVETAILS nicely for the Marxists.

America has spoken, Fire the SOB's!!!!

So last year when this all started when Colin Kaepernick first took a knee during the anthem and his jersey instantly became the top seller on the NFL's shop, what was that?

America hasn't spoken, it's merely gotten caught up in the moment once again.

I'm just wondering. . . .

How many people in all the stadiums for all the games, took a knee.

When more Americans are interested in the NFL season, stats, playoffs, and Super Bowl than their own political duty to their country to be more informed and knowledgeable about election processes and outcomes, THAT, AND THIS, IS THE ULTIMATE HYPOCRISY AND IRONY.

IMAGINE..if ...let's say, we had even 80% of "sports" fans engaging as much time and effort into sports as they did the political system.....my God... we might actually turn this around!

Eating a hot dog at baseball game doesn't make you an AMERICAN. That is a byproduct of "Americanisms"......which are stereotypes by the way, but get a pass when it has to do with anything associated to "Apple pie".

Your CIVIC DUTY starts in your own communities and goes up from there.

It shouldn't be triggered or 'ACTIVATED' by the influence of entertainment....amazing how many people have completely lost their sh# over "traditions"....It's NOT REQUIRED BY LAW OR OTHERWISE to even DO the national anthem at sporting events!!!

That's when you know you are PROGRAMMED....

When you can't distinguish fantasy from reality..... and you make excuses for the programming.. giving it life and energy when it was merely a concept, harmless and categorized,

You are a drone.

Villanueva should tell tomlin to shut the hell up.

Then the Steelers should fire tomlin.
Not for his words but for his coaching.

Damn right.

I am a lifelong Steelers fan and will not be watching anymore games this season until all Steelers stand with Villanueva.

I listen to the local sports talk every single day and was amused when ratings were down last season. The talking heads did everything they could to blame it on things other than the protests.

I can't wait to see how the MSM who is part of the hive mind kneeling crowd try to spin the ratings hit that will happen this year.
