Fair enough, just thought it was appropriate to point out.

Oh, and there's no such thing as "just a mom." You have the most important job on the planet. Be proud of it.

NYT has Ossoff ahead 58152 to 56619, but is projecting Handel to win by .8 % because there are more left wing areas reporting right now.

We shall see.

As usual the Democrat strongholds seem to be the last to start reporting. That is a trend that was very obvious during the general Election.

Hard to finagle vote counts accurately until you know what you need...

My thoughts exactly...

.. Ossoff now leads:
58,152 vs 56,619

NYT use their own estimate (guess) on turnout by precinct... so the projection is very shaky to say the least when it is this close

Latest:
Handel 61,563
Ossoff 60,991

Close!

Absolutely correct.

Although, I will defend the NYT here.

During election night in November, there counter had Trump winning well before anyone else.

They were way off before the election, but pretty accurate once the numbers starting coming in with their projections.

But none of that means anything here.

I guess it will just be wait and see.

Maybe they will vote in a libertarian?

Dont be stupid.

Americans are binary brained idiots that can only handle the concept of 2 parties

For that to be true, it would take at least a few elections in which the third party candidate wasn't an unelectable kook. To date, those haven't been easy to find.

It would almost have to be a billionaire squared who didn't want their money since there would be no D or R funds ... and they lose out on debates as well. The whole primary, debate, money thing would have to be reworked for a legitimate third party run with a legitimate candidate. Why do you think Sanders ran as a Dem? Couldn't afford to buy the publicity and would have never gotten into a debate or been able to travel around country and spread his message. Imagine if all candidates had finite funding, finite advertising, finite debates, and finite rallies. I suspect we might see different types of leaders...

If it continues like this, the loser will request a re-count.

We'll know that based on the result - If Handel wins then clearly Russia did it.

I don't even live in the state, but since I know some Russians, I was able to vote twice.

Like I said earlier, a Democrat winning in SC an/or GA would be the kick in the pants that Republicans need.

Shame for Ossoff as he doesn't seem to know any Russians, he doesn't live in the district either and he couldn't even vote in his own race.
