Why do the acts of single disturbed individuals continue to paint the narrative for others to judge an entire GROUP of other, non-disturbed people? It gets tiring when a whackjob does something stupid or evil, and it's now the norm to go off an apparently happy tangent about how someone was right about entire GROUP of people who they seem to feel, the whackjob fully represents?

This is for the right, the left, and everyone in between.

Also the comments about civil war are utterly ridiculous. A crazed lunatic isn't going to start a civil war.

Calling him out for being a friend of the shooter? How does that even make sense to somebody to do that?

Madonna

Isn't she the old woman that threatened to burn down the White House? Well, after Obama had moved out, of course.

That is a reasonable theory..insanity might of been a poor choice of mental defect.

That was my point. Knowing what little I know these days about human psychology, his writings and recent history do not indicate he was "insane". He lived a fairly normal life outside of his political activities,

His toxicology will be quite telling, IMHO...

It doesn't make any sense, but that is what I saw. like I said, it was crazy stuff.

Sad irony:

It's the left/liberal media's fault when an unhinged liberal decides to shoot up some Republican Congresspeople at ball practice after asking about political persuasion, and it's also the left/liberal media's fault when an unhinged Republican attacks students in a coffee shop with a machete after asking about political persuasion.

Got it.

All the left's fault, always, and never the person who commits the crime.

SMH.

Coincidence my ass. Scalise joined Trump in his anti-human trafficking stance and he vowed to bring child predators to justice. This smells fishy and raised a huge red flag for me. I hope they are all scared sh!tless and Trump is coming for all of them.

Does it not send red flags when the New York Times supports play put on in a public setting where they depict the assassination of your President?

not anymore than when it was hillary being depicted as the assassinated one...

In 2015, a production of Julius Caesar at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence gave a spin to the Shakespearian history play by reimagining the title character as a woman. The show was largely interpreted by critics to be referencing Hillary Clinton, especially considering that when its “Caesar” was murdered at the beginning of Act Three she was wearing a striking white pantsuit.
www.theatlantic.com...

Does it not make you uneasy to see simulated decapitation of your president's head displayed on left-wing media?

I didn't see it on left wing media, I saw it on right wing gripe session media....
but to answer your question, it was rather sickening.... although it would be rather sickening no matter who the fake head portrayed!!

Does Antifa's, Saul Alinsky inspired tactics, and Marxism ideology displayed violently at Berkeley riots against conservative citizens of the United States not give you pause?

I don't like violence period!! but I got to ask, was it all the protesters that were violent or just a small group of them? ya see, if I were to say much of anything about those violent protesters it would be condemnation because they are interfering with the right of others to be they conservative, or liberal, to peacefully protest, where as I've seen many on the right just want portray all the protesters as violent.

How about when a Democratic Socialist from Illinois posts hate speech on his Facebook page, and then carries out an attack against conservative members of government. Does this follow through not scare youby

I haven't been on facebook in a long time, so no, I haven't seen anything like that on it... tell me should it scare me any less than seeing videos of crazy teenagers holding some poor handicapped kid hostage and torturing him? to be honest, I am more afraid of those crazy drivers on the road who are trying to cut in front of me and merge into the side of my car far more!!! what can I say, I'm not crazy enough to be a politician in washington and I don't hang around crazy teenagers, but one of these days one of those crazy drivers just might decide to drive into me!!

there are extremes on all sides of the aisle!! extreme left, extreme right, extreme muslim, extreme christian, extreme whatever....
it wasn't that long ago that a crazy walked into a pizza shop in dc and started shooting into the floor because he believed that there was child sex slaves in the basement (never mind that if there was actually children in the basement he could have very well killed one or two of them)... wasn't fox one of the news outlets that carried that story?? seems to be that if cnn and msnbc is called on on promoting violence, the fox should be also, right??
or are you only gonna be happy when it's right leaning protesters only allowed to protest and right leaning news coverage being allowed to be aired?

Thinking out loud...

Hodgkins on could not have gotten the gun locally... the gun laws there are crazy, especially with an out-of-state ID. He had to have brought the gun with him. That means he didn't fly, because guns are not allowed on planes. He had to drive.

I'm trying to remember how long that takes... looks like at least a 12 hour drive from Danville on the Illinios/Indiana state line. He had to have driven at least overnight, and it is my experience that very few can drive straight for 12 hours and still be able to do what he did.

I guess it's possible he got to DC earlier and was already there, but that is even more disturbing... it means he had this planned for days. This was, either way, NOT just some guy who lost it! This was an assassin.

Someone earlier mentioned he had a business of some sort? Or am I mistaken? Why would he leave any kind of decent life, drive a couple days, and risk his life to attack Republicans? This ain't adding up.

FOX now showing protest photos of him...

Guns actually are allowed on planes, you just can't bring it in the cabin with you. It has to be in a hard-sided case, locked, unloaded, and checked as checked baggage.

True statement guns are allowed on planes....I hate flying my rifles with me...Baggage handlers always rough up my case and somehow knock my scope out. I always take my hunters to the range when they get off the plane to make sure their scopes are still dialed in./......

I haven't tried it yet. Driving state to state is a nightmare because of the tangled web of thousands of laws. This is why we need national reciprocity.

On a related note, I've got some #ing pizza coming.

I have the CCW in FL as well as some non resident CCW for other states. Also retired LE so I lean on LEOSA. I can carry in most states legally except the for a very limited few...Makes it nice that's for sure...

I have Florida CCW as well, but it's a non-resident one. Some states don't recognize it the same as if you're a Florida resident, such as Pennsylvania. Which is absurd because the requirements to get a non-resident Florida CCW are more stringent than the requirements to get a PA CCW.

I live in calif and have a Nevada non resident CCW.

I can not get a calif CCW even though i was a federal security officer.
But my Nevada non resident CCW lets me carry in 30 states.

If i drive the right highways i can drive all the way to the east coast armed once i get to the calif border.

No one has said the left committed any of these crimes, nor did they say it wasn't the perpetrators fault. In fact that's quite the straw man.

Scalise stance on HumanTrafficking

Yea let's not start re-writing the narrative so we can trot out Pizzagate again.

Scalise is on record about human trafficking issues going back several years, so if anything, Trump joined him on the issue. And the greater, non-4chan driven story is that they're talking about human trafficking in general and not child predators specifically. That was debunked quite a while ago. It's not the warning shot to Podesta you want it to be.

When was Bill Clinton's wife ever depicted as being assassinated in a public forum?

Was it intentionally and with aforethought scripted and acted out like the Trump "Caesar" play?

Did you see a conservative media personality holding the severed bloody head of Barack Obama in a professionally staged and executed photograph?

Are you aware of the political affiliation or leanings of the vast majority of those who commit gun crimes in this country?

White supremacist terror accounts for more incidents over the last 10 to 15 years, than does any other kind of terrorism in the USA.

White supremacists are not known for their liberal, lefty mindset.

Well when 65% of the population is white and only white people can be associated it seems with hate crimes... If we look at those numbers and compare them to population size and do the same with other ethnicity/race groups there is a different picture. Also if that was a norm for events I wonder how Obama made it 8 years and more now with no more or less the number of threats of his two white predecessors, but Republican do take the blunt of attacks and even if Fact Check doesn't confirm true liberal association it surely is not a situation of Conservatives attacking Conservatives...lol

In the case of White supremacists, I'm not sure what to call them, but not Conservative.. What do you call anarchist that associate with the far left? I wouldn't really call them Liberal either...

The winds are changing directions my friend and what we typically see with the media is they only like to apply associations to the right and not the left. It's like in the last 9 years all the violent demonstrations and shootings are not associated with the far left in anyway, but white supremacists are associated with the far right even though considered a "gang" and only 10% of gang members are white from once again 65% of the population. What do we associate the other 90% of gang members with who are vastly Hispanic/Black?

Now we had a new mix of radical Islam that go down the path of full destruction including themselves from people that show zero issues up to the point they decide to go full suicide killer(s).

No its not just you.

Reading some posters replies here and outside this site is knotting my stomach as they spin and obfuscate away from tacit approval of this guy's beliefs.

Sure no one here has agreed with his actions directly but that does not absolve the mindset of expression.

The far left owns this one.
