Actually Trump asked Comey several times if he was been investigated and Comey said nol.

People doesn't get it, the whole witch hunts is about Flynn and still they have nothing, but speculations.

Did FBI Director Comey lie under oath at any point over the past year? If so, wouldn't his testimony as a private citizen mean even less?

Interesting update that one of the reasons convey was fired is because he was not prioritising the investigation into the leaks. That is great news. The leaking off the information to the press should be 99% of the investigation by the FBI.

Still chuckling at CNN... Ben Sasse being troubled by this equals a non partisan response . Haha!

It was just discovered today that former Director Comey mischaracterized the amount and effect of the Hillary Clinton emails found on Huma Abedin’s husband’s laptop. Comey claimed the FBI had discovered “hundreds of thousands” of Clinton emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. They had been forwarded to him by wife Huma Abedin.

Read and weep

It turns out it had just been a handful of emails and they were not stored regularly as Comey suggested. Attorney General Jeff Sessions recommended to the President that he terminate Comey immediately for his offense and that’s exactly what Trump did.

And Pelosi was wrong. Comey is a man of integrity, has always been committed to his job, regardless of the political environment, and we as a nation and political machine drug him in to the middle of an immature political cat-fight between two parties that seem to be comprised of a bunch of little bitches.

Think about this: Trump just acted-out the very thing Pelosi was thinking.

I can see your point, but your point rests on a fact that Comey is honorable. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't.

But I know one thing for sure, if Comey had to go down as a twisted example of political karma the direction of the country was worth it.

Having seen this and listened to this here is the take on such:

The firing of FBI direction, Comey, is going to be a political nightmare for the current administration.
There are questions that need to be answered, and an investigation into the campaign, would have given answers, be it if the man is guilty or innocent. By terminating a lot of the high profile people who were actively investigating aspects of this, gives the appearance and looking like a cover up on the part of the sitting president. And it has echoes of Watergate.

The timeline is as I understand it, is that the investigation started while Obama was in office, and there were concerns and questions. Foreign intelligent agents were letting the FBI and CIA know about concerns on what they were seeing, and yet nothing was done. Obama was presented with evidence, and went to congress, and the republican majority leaders, who in turn, told Obama to keep it under wraps, not to release said information. Comey, 11 days before the election, sends a letter to congress, that is leaked, and it makes Comey looking bad, putting the FBI and the Justice department into question. Obama did not fire him then for his misconduct. Trump is elected, and starts to fire people.

Now He fires acting Attorney General Yates, for 2 reasons, one is that she warned the Trump administration about Flynn, even without the forms, all based on the interview and investigation that she had heard, three times, including twice visiting the White House, and to not uphold his mandate. Mind you that when she was confirmed, they asked her if she would be willing to go against a sitting president if his order was illegal, and she answered yes she was. There was the Attorney Barra, where there were all indications that there was an investigation, which was going to affect the current President. There are the deaths of Russian diplomats, several of whom had contact with members of the Trump team.

Jeff Sessions was confirmed as Attorney General and then he recused himself from all investigations about Trump and his team.

Now you have the Firing of the FBI director Comey. There is an active investigation on Trump, and a counter intelligence investigation, concerning Trump as well. Now with any who knows about investigations, the agents and authorities, cannot talk about such, without jeopardizing said investigation. And it was on the advice of a man who recused himself from any investigation on Trump.

This is going to have reprecussions both in the USA and around the world, and as it appears as though the White House is trying to shut down any and all investigations into the current sitting President. As it has been stated, the cover up is always far worse than the actual crime, for a cover up always shows intent on the part of the person.

Dominos are falling. Finally. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of this ugly chapter in U.S. history. Either Hillary or Trump or both will get played off the stage.

The two media outlets is making those that are on Hopeium and Nannywanna that Trump is going to be impeached and he will never finish his term.

People are soo gullible they believe anything, after all the job of the media is to get as much ratings as they can.

You may want to check and see how many republican constituents are thrilled about the AHCA passing the House. You shouldn't forget about how many old people are proud republicans. They aren't going to forget how quickly their elected representatives screwed them to push through some quick tax cuts for their corporate pals, or the wealthiest sections of the population.

The Democrats may clean house come 2018 based on that alone.

It's pretty clear to me. He was investigation the whole Russia thing, and since everyone in the Trump administration has suspicious connections with sketchy Russians, and we just had this hearing about it the other day, Trump is probably scared of dirt coming out.

NO, Trump fired Yates because she interfered with Trump executive order on immigration.

That is actually a reason for firing and employee.

Actually Comey no been now on the Federal government payroll will be easier for him to be call and questioned.

Comey is not an agent involved in the investigation. Firing him has no bearing on the investigation.
