Rebellious schools? Those are OUR kids in those "rebellious schools". Not YOURS.

Schools should live within their means like the rest of us, and tell the govt to # off with their social engineering.

So you disagree with them for integrating schools then? And you know good as I do that schools love money more than education. This is bluster.

And Your kids need to learn the world isnt black and white. I went to public school myself. didnt have any issues with transgenders. never heard of any either. do they have proof of transgenders assaulting people and sexually abusing them? do they have proof of transgenders flashing their bits? no they dont.

Jesus said to love your neighbor unconditionally. These conservative poloticians are only after one thing. job security. they dont care about you.

Anne apparently they are islamophobic as well, Sure Islam is growing fast in europe,BUT only because of immigration and people claiming to not belong of a specific belief. Alot of people believe but dont go to church. A s long as you have a bible you dont need to go to a church or abide by their practices. Such as Mass.

That is what is giving people th e impression christianity is dying, when its actually evolving into a more individual belief.

Oh, wait - - - not this one.

“The first few years were like a utopia,” Kelly said. “Everyone on the staff [at Orono’s Asa Adams School] was very supportive. The school counselor spent a lot of time doing lots of research.”

That atmosphere changed abruptly in the fall of 2007 when the twins were in the fifth grade. That was the year Wyatt made the transition to to Nicole. She legally changed her name, let her hair grow and began wearing girl’s clothes to school.

She also began using the girls bathroom at Asa Adams with, what her parents said, was the support of school administrators and staff.

Shortly thereafter, a male student and his grandfather objected to Nicole’s use of the bathroom. “This kid came into the bathroom [in October 2007] and said, ‘My grandfather says we don’t have to have any faggots in our school”

Wayne recalled. “What do you do with that? It was quite a change.”

On Oct. 9, 2007, then-Superintendent Kelly Clenchy decided Nicole should use a staff bathroom rather than the girls bathroom, according to the lawsuit Wayne and Nicole have filed in Penobscot County Superior Court against Clenchy and the department. bangordailynews.com...

The fact that the parents of a 5th grader allowed the kid to choose to be a girl is the real issue.

My 10 year old thinks he's a ninja turtle half the time but we aren't going shell shopping anytime soon.

NO.

Organized religion is dying. People more and more consider themselves spiritual - - without the hard line controls of organized religion.

Spiritual people may incorporate the positive of the Christ message, but also the positive of Buddha, and Mohammed as well.

Sorry, but the Christ Myth is ridiculous. And really has nothing to do with Spiritual People adopting what is consider the "Christ Message" - - - which really doesn't even require a belief in Myth Jesus. Its the message that matters. Wherever, whoever, it came from.

Letting a 5th grader make that decision and the parents allowing hormone therapy is mind boggling.

This shouldn't be a decision that gets made until the kid becomes an adult and then they can take whatever hormones they choose.

What decision? They cant get SURGERY until they are essentially GROWN UP. And can be ruled to be of sound mind to do so. they just dont let you get the surgery at that age. its too risky.

Also PARENTS make decisions for kids all the time. It smind boggling how people cannot mind their own damn business.

When Do Kids Know They’re Transgender? Younger Than You'd Think - - JAN 20, 2016

How early might a child express gender identity out loud? We have heard reports as early as when their kids start talking, as soon as they could say words like girl and boy. So a lot of parents say 18 months, 2 years. kuow.org...

Your knowledge about transgender children and affirming care is woefully inadequate. I've written extensively about this here and here and well, just check my post history.

ETA: This is already law in California schools. 17 states and 250+ cities also already have anti-discrimination laws that let trans people use the bathroom that matches who they are as people.

“I got news for President Barack Obama,” Texas’ Port Neches-Groves Superintendent Rodney Canvass told 12News. “He ain’t my president and he can’t tell me what to do. The letter is going straight into the paper shredder.”

Pretty much sums it up. A Dictator by self decree is by definition not a President of the US.Just another of his "fundamental changes" without representation.

If President Obama isn't his President, I'm sure he would have no problem giving back the Department of Education money that went to him as superintendent, including what went to his salary.

You guys are insane. Period.

2 years? Seriously?

Kids that age and even older can't work, vote, cook, read. They will eat the change in your couch. They will pee and poop wherever is convenient. They will drown in 2 inches of water.
They speak in tongues, they will drink anything not having a safety cap. They have zero comprehension on anything going on in the world. What the sky is, what a plane is etc.

And you psychos think they can make a decision on their gender and actually advocate parents pumping them full of hormones????

You should all be jailed.
