It wasn't written by Tom Clancy, it was written by Ben Rich and Leo Janos. And it's not ficticious.

Oh wait, I only saw the top part. The review was by Clancy. SORRY!

And what would happen if a squadron of Russian Mi-24s were to be launched and invaded Area 51?

It was Richard Mingus who was involved in that type of scenario, invasion of Area 51 by helicopter

Tom Clancy didn't write it . Ben Rich was the author.

Tom Clancy made a quote-comment about the book and they placed it on the cover for PR

This is the quote by Tom Clancy

Dynamite- The True Story of one of Americas crown jewels

Ever read Annie Jacobsen's book about Area 51? Is the Skunk Works book similar to her style?

No. Skunk Works is true. Her book is utter BS that guaranteed no one else would ever have access to people that worked there in the past.

I have not read that book, but Ben Rich was a first hand account by the guy running the show.

Sometimes the truth can be just as fascinating as science fiction.

The good news is ,that it sounds like you still have a chance to be 75% accurate.

A bit of advice if I may. If you want to educate yourself in this field, slow down and take some time to read some of the pinned and older threads in this forum.

All the pieces to the puzzle are in there if you take the time to find them.

Here is the Freshman Forum for questions not involving your current thread

You can report to a Mod problems in the other thread by clicking the little green person icon on Zaphod for example and message them.
Try to keep on topic to prevent thread drift and adding multiple needed posts you can also edit them to add more content.

Now back to your thread...
