I don't know of any group that would target disabled people specifically.

That was the only thing I could think of too. A bit of an extreme response. No matter what they think their reason for this is, there is no rational, logical motive that can support something like this. I just can't wrap my head around it at all.

Exactly.

People who are developmently disabled clearly cannot own a fire arm. Those working with them should also never have a firearm on their person while working with them.
