My companies Holiday party is in 2 days. People go on vacation a lot in Dec so the earlier the better usually. Also, you aren't offending other religions when you do it that way. Ours is called "Winter Festival".

So a law enforcement professional acting like a professional when dealing with a law enforcement event is...odd?

I mean if she was the first officer in the door and saw a pile of bodies and had no reaction I might, operative word might, wonder why she wasn't phased. Then again, you tend to see a lot of messed up crap in law enforcement and wind up with a good chance that what bothers civilians isn't going to bother you. But I'm perplexed as to why you find it odd that she's being professional and like...doing her job, instead of crying?

Reported where? That's the first I've heard of it.

Interview I just saw with an IRC employee named Brandon Hunt was that it was in an auditorium where an event was being hosted. The event was described by him as a "banquet for county personnel."

This could have been a disgruntled former patient that was not happy with the services they received, or how they were treated.

They appear to have a history of problems and lawsuits.

So far these suspects seem to be well trained, prepared, and armed to their teeth. I don't know if a former patient could get that prepared... Just my opinion though.

CNN is reporting it was a banquet for county employees.

So the building with the disabled medical center may not have been the target.

Of course, in this type of situation, information can get mixed up.

The police officer I saw interviewed stated that there are no numbers on victims yet. They didn't specify at all.
They are now also backtracking possibly on the black SUV as well.....

I work in the IS department of a huge healthcare organization and we have our Christmas party this Friday for various reasons. Requirements of work, people leaving for vacation.

Just because you haven't heard of it doesnt mean something is suspicious..
