How in the bloody hell are we to enrich good works and encourage unique talents of the next generation if the very teachers charged with this task have been sucked in by the propaganda that is all around us. Clearly, some have lost all hope of lateral thought-process and instead overtly display paranoid delusions so far removed from reality that it begs belief.

I swear, bloody Facebook and other mind numbing social media is churning out idiots these days.

"Mohammed - brings clock - therefore terrorist"

Bloody fools.

right....and what do you think would have happened if IT WAS a explosive device and the administration didn't catch it in time before it went off and killed children?.....this was a "damn if you don't, and damn if you do" situation......a quick judgment had to be made, and it was made on the side of caution......who of you that are so outraged by this, would be willing to take responsibility if a future incident turns fatal?

No, it was made on the side of insane paranoia. It was a frickin' clock. This was not a judgement call, this was a moronic mistake.

Doesn't anybody see how goofy this is? The kid didn't ''build a clock''. He just took the functioning guts out of an ordinary bedroom alarm clock and put them into another case. Some people are saying it is a small brief case or a pencil case. The kid is delusional to imagine that he built a clock. Is this special ed or something? No wonder police were questioning his actions and motives. He did not build a clock. Can anybody understand this?!!

Really?

What sort of clock has the digital readout facing inward, inside the case? The kid put a functioning clock inside another case which disguises the clock. If it was sitting under a desk you might think somebody left their pencil case behind. You wouldn't think, "oh, there is a clock."

The news photo shows that it is obviously an alarm clock put into some other case which conceals the clock mechanism as well as the display that makes clocks so useful in the first place. There is no battery attached to the battery backup 9V connector, or the police removed it. How does the clock alarm go off in class unless the boy plugged it into the wall. 9V battery back-up will not sound the alarm when the main AC power is absent. He plugged it into the wall in the back of the class or on the side of the class. Why would he do that? Perhaps the kid really is just a little bit goofy, but you can understand why the police are cautious about this. There is no explosive in the case so they don't evacuate the school. They are handling this kid with kid gloves because they really do question his actions and motives. They can see it is not a bomb, but they can also see that something a bit screwy is going on.

As for Obama's reaction... well.... that alone makes me think the whole incident was set up.

Nope. It was a stupid knee jerk reaction.

But, applying your logic, surely you want the school teachers and headteachers fired and the police who attended fired for not evacuating the building and instead just handcuffing the kid with the brown skin and the funny name who happens to be bigot fodder and sitting him in the principals office?

......a quick judgment had to be made, and it was made on the side of caution......who of you that are so outraged by this, would be willing to take responsibility if a future incident turns fatal?

Except that caution wasn't exercised, was it?

Either way round, the people running that school shouldn't be. And the Police department who attended displayed a level of incompetence and stubbornness that is staggering.

So, why has it taken so long for me to see a picture of this "clock"? Could it be because it looks exactly like a bomb?

www.thegatewaypundit.com...

The picture doesn't convey scale. That's not a briefcase, it's a pencil case. There's enough room inside that thing to hold about 6 pencils.

I think you need to re-think your position.

makezine.com...

And besides, kids have been playing with electronics kits for years

Electronics Sets

Is every kid who owns one of those a potential terrorist that needs to be handcuffed and detained?

There were no explosives connected to it. For that matter, I assume you're aware that cell phones are the preferred detonator these days. Do we scream bomb every time someone pulls out a phone?

look at the a/c line cord plug next to the case, for scale. The case is small.

The more I think about it....

This wasn't about protecting the students. Why wasn't the bomb squad called? This was about the racist nailing of a brownskinned kid with a scary Muslim name to the wall. It was about making political points with the conservative Christian demographic in the DFW area.

If this incident had of happened around Lubbock or Amarillo, the kid would still be in jail awaiting deportation along with his parents.

If I open a cellphone case and take the internals out and put them into a cigar box, then did I "build a phone?" Of course not. The kid is the sort of delusional kid that we've all seen before. Putting something into some other case does not make one a next level genius. The first reaction was from the teacher... oh, that's nice, put it away. The teacher knows exactly what the dreaming kid is doing. Can't you understand this? The next reaction comes when the kid continues to poke and prod the school system. THAT is what brought the harsh reaction from the police. Somebody in the local MEDIA ran with it. The PRESIDENT ran with it. It is part of their agenda. What a silly thing for a president to say. Oh, this junkyard tinkering is going to put America on top for sure.

If the kid ordered a bunch of pieces parts online and then breadboarded them into a functioning clock I would say the kid is good at reading schematics and assembling components. He is starting his electrical engineering career. He is striving to understand the function of components and circuit design. Good job. Now put it away. Did the other kids in class have projects to show? Was it even a class assignment?

What the kid actually did is disguise a clock. He simply put the guts of an alarm clock into a pencil case. For what reason? Does the kid actually believe that he "built a clock"? Oh my. Does Obama think the kid "built a clock?" Help us, please!

See the stack of four pizzas the father is holding? How much explosive + cell phone can be concealed in that cubic area?

This MEDIA circus event is part of some agenda and not at all some innocent kid's blunder.

Allow me to explain.

Did you not say this just a little bit ago?

it looked like a bomb, he is a muslim hence he wants sharia law in the usa. His female relatives think western women are sluts. Do not be taken in by any muslim.

You are, without hope of contradiction, implying that all Muslims want Sharia law. You imply that his female relations, are so radicalized that they believe western women are all sluts.

All Muslims want Sharia law... Shenanigans.

All Muslims want...

All Muslims want...

No, all Muslims don't. If you'd look past your blinders you would see that. No group of people are all the same.
They are not muslims if they dont live by sharia, is that hard to understand?
A majority of muslims desire or live under sharia law.
The rights of women should come before the rights of a religion.
I like women in short skirts not women covered head to toe in a vale.
Why do people in the west put up with this muslim bigotry.
And where did i state

All

All

ALL?

Thats right, no where thats where

Round objects. There are hundreds of thousands of Muslims here in the UK. They don't live under sharia law, just UK law.
Oh dear. Google is your friend. Try Sharia courts and sharia mortgages. Keep up

Google is your friend, show how any of them can override the UK law.

They may use it in CIVIL cases, but that isn't sharia law.

If you want to make the claim then you need to show it.

Sound like you just watched the fox news no go zone segment.

Obama will find him a training job somewhere special.

What was the boy's motivation for doing this?

Was this a class project or did he decide to make a bomb without the boom all on him own?

That box could hold a couple lbs. of explosive.

Is that lcd screen visible from the outside of the box?

Why the hell should we have anything sharia in the u.k? Give me a break... Or fgm for that matter... Or the termination of foetus based on sex.... Or honour killings...or the systematic racist gang rapes of thousands upon thousands of predominantly white little female children....
Why the heck should the british accept any part of it?

Did you google those terms? Kinda contradicts your other uninformed posts doesnt it?
