I haven't engaged?? Or you haven't debated me from the question I asked (the purpose I made the thread) or replied to any of my arguments. But instead decided to either say I dont prove anything (which I wasnt suppose to in the post but inside the debates I intended on having), make unrelated microdebates, or refuse to debate me from the question I asked.

You just have to take someone to the ground i guess.

What about the scientific fact that non-living matter can not spontaneously generate from non-living matter?

what about quantum potential? that can explain matter coming from a vacuum.

personally I think its a distraction by Satan to get us to not believe.

So, there is no belief system in atheism then. I thought not.
It is an absence of belief, as your source says.

Clearly it is the belief that deities do not exist. Clearly there is no irrefutable evidence to support either belief.

Nice try though.

Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities. Most inclusively, atheism is the absence of belief that any deities exist. Atheism is contrasted with theism, which, in its most general form, is the belief that at least one deity exists.

How do you Reject something you lack belief in? (or Reject the belief)?

I don't feel like I am Rejecting anything. That would give it substance. There isn't any.

That paragraph is worded awkwardly.

No. It is the converse a belief. It is an absence of belief.

My good member if you confuse me with an atheist,
this may get ugly on many unprecedented levels.

No. It is the belief that it does not exist.

Since there is no irrefutable evidence supporting it, it is not a fact, it is a belief.

I don't believe in deities. I wonder if there is a category/name for that?

Wow, you've had a generally bad attitude this entire thread. Which really is sad considering several of us have defended, at the very least, the premise of your thread.

You have shown up very little in your OWN thread, and when you have you've done so only to complain. Then you accuse posters of not addressing your thread. Then you get mad that the thread was moved to creationism, even tho proof of a CREATOR is in your very thread title. What are you really trying to accomplish here? I'm beginning to wonder if you are just trying to make all "believers" look like assholes.

Do you even understand how ATS and other message boards work?? They are places to have DISCUSSIONS, which you keep accusing others of not doing. I get that you are new, but knock off the attitude or else no-one will CARE to address your thread based on this one attribute alone! Sheesh, lighten the Hell up!

So, the absence of light (darkness) is something? I'm talking about the real thing here, not the allegorical thing.

Since there is so irrefutable evidence either way, it is not a fact, it is a belief.
No. It is a lack of belief, not a belief.

he capitalization of "him" was the most telling. That's a Christian thing.

Not necessarily. I do it too, out of respect for the literary tradition.

Do you believe in UFO's? Or do you believe that UFO's do not exist.

I know that there are unidentified flying objects. I know they exist. I've seen an object I could not identify.
I have no reason to "believe" they are all representative of anything in particular. It is not a matter of belief.

I'm an agnostic atheist. It's comforting to know that I have enough intelligence to know that there are some things we will never know.

Checkmate.
