without being bullied by the liberal socialist progressives
and being called a hater and engaging in hate speech

The very fact that you support the right of people who disagree
to disagree with the ruling
automatically in the eyes of the liberal socialist progressive
makes you a hater and engaging in hate speech.

The liberal socialist progressive can not tolerate free speech
if the speech in any way differs from the proscribed and
accepted ideas of the liberal socialist progressive left.

The liberal socialist progressive left
has become a bunch of bullies when it comes to speech.

The only free speech is speech they approve of,
ALL opposing thoughts become hate speech
worthy of calling one a bigot, racist, anti-woman, and a hater.

That is just the way they are.

Overly sensitive bullies, who are really crybabies,
when it come to being offended if someone disagrees with them
to the point of lashing out in the most judgmental and offensive ways.

The very second that anyone is criminally punished for speaking out against marriage between gay folks, they are going to lose an advocate and I will be standing with those who were punished.

Equal rights does NOT mean special rights or protected rights.

It means that they are just as equally a target for derisive speech as the rest of us.

"butt bandit" and such is hate speech. Sexual orientation is a protected class in many states. That kind of speech is hateful in general and should be against the new T&Cs here.

Not true. I'm one of many who have been labeled a social liberal progressive and I fully support everyone's right to complain and speak out against gay marriage all they want. I even support your right to rant and rave and scream about it until your blue in the face. Freedom of speech baby. That's where it's at. Doesn't bother me in the least. Because that freedom goes both ways and if I disagree with something being said I have the freedom to counter it if I choose. You gotta love it.

FYI: I think gay marriage should be a states issue, not a federal issue, I'm ok with gay marriage itself.
But I think the Supreme Court should have left the issue to each state to decide, which they would have all come around eventually.

I do not support any usurpation of States rights by the Federal government. But liberals have taken that to mean I am racist, homophobic and anti-womens rights, and tried to bully me into agreeing with them. I see this bullying judgementalism becoming stronger and stronger with the liberal left in this country.

The government can make any law it wants to affirm what it wants. In the end nothing has changed. I do not agree with it, and that is my right. Even if they don't like it. That is unless the Liberal Supremes want to abolish the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

Let us remember that this same Supreme Court ruled that black slaves were property. Not every decision they make is right.

It took an amendment to set it straight (excuse the pun).

I'll be standing right there with you if that day comes. Equality means everyone is equal, even the people who's speech we may not agree with.

Even the preachers who tell two men "I won't marry you because it's an abomination." Even with this ruling, we have to protect the right of all Americans to practice their religion as they see fit (within the law, of course). And this is coming from an atheist. Why? Because if religion comes under concerted attack, I might be next. Freedom of religion extends to me, as well, even if I lack it, I'm FREE to lack religion.

It's beautiful that way.

I guess the battle will be between two protected groups, Christians and Homosexuals. If gays do not want Christians in their face, they should stay out of theirs. Equal rights means equal rights.
