I am not surprised at all either, the Obama administration has been very peculiar when it comes to the Muslim brotherhood, even back in the beginning of his administration with many coming forward to denounce his links many were even been soo apologetic as to say that the Muslim brotherhood was not a terrorist organization.

But a usual with all the links to the issue you still have those that will stick wither their party leaders no matter what kind of leadership is put in a pedestal to be worshiped regardless as long as they are part of the party of choice.

This the part of politics that bring the word "idol worshiping" to an new high, see no evil hear no evil.

What I don't understand is why no Muslim listens to the Koran.

Their are NO FORCED CONVERSIONS allowed by the Koran.

Forcing the world to follow Islamic Law when they have not agreed democratically is FORCED CONVERSION.

If Muslims would listen to MOHAMMED they would STOP FORCING others to obey Islam.

Yeah, it's crazy isn't it. A foreign nut-bag buys one of the two major newspapers in the nations capital, Washington DC, for the expressed political purpose of influencing the balance of news in the USA in a manner which he thought would make the USA more amenable to his own agenda of having the USA accept him as the Second Coming of Christ, and all of our ardent conspiracy hounds never noticed.

More that I find interesting is the constant cry of 'liberal media'. Yet, if you look at arguably the two major political cities in the US, New York and DC, New York has a Times and a Post. And DC has a Times and a Post. People can argue back and forth about the liberalness of the Washington Post, but the politics of the Washington Times is clearly, by the owners agenda is conservative.

And at the same time, while we can argue about the liberalness or conservativeness of the New York Times, the ownership of the New York Post is also very conservative by the nature of the man who bought it decades ago. Rupert Murdoch, the Australian media mogul whos politics are far from liberal. You know Murdock. The guy that founded Fox News.

Actually it was an Egyptian news media the one that brought up many years ago the links of President Obama to the Muslim brotherhood via his brother, then the Israeli media follow up on the news.

The only ones that didn't made it into news was the US monopoly media.

Care to rethink that so you can restate ? The Muslim Brotherhood was near TOPS on the terrorism list for a LONG time . Was it Obama that had them removed /?

The White House has rejected a petition requesting that the government declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization.

The petition had been first created in July on the White House website, and obtained over 213,000 signatures in just a month. The Obama administration has stated that it will respond to any petition that reaches at least 100,000 signatures in a 30-day period.

“[The] Muslim Brotherhood has a long history of violent killings & terrorizing opponents. Also, MB has direct ties with most terrorist groups like Hamas,” it read. “A book by one of their prominent figures, Sayyid Qutb, called Ma’alim fi-l-Tariq, is the bible for many terrorist groups.”

“The Muslim Brotherhood has shown in the past few days that it is willing to engage in violence and killing of innocent civilians in order to invoke fear in the hearts of its opponents. This is terrorism,” the petition continued. “We ask the US government to declare MB as a terrorist group for a safer future for all of us.”

But in response to the petition, the White House replied recently that although it opposes violence in the name of religion, it does not view the Muslim Brotherhood as being a terrorist organization.

1. I chose to use the word "liberal" because the rules and terms here on ATS prevent me from using the words I would typically.

2. The Muslim Brotherhood, while not active terrorists (eg. bombing, etc.) do hold an agenda that states their purpose is to convert the world to Islam and force Islamic law. I feel the threat to women, gays and anyone who doesn't want Islam shoved down their throats is terroristic in itself.

3. We agree! No links or sites should be blocked if they claim to report news. And yes...we will judge them by their actions. But we don't all agree on who we trust. I trust no media sources 100% and never 100% of the time. But I have those that I trust just enough that I will investigate something they report and make my own decisions. Which is what we should all be doing.
