Gee, it took every other nation years of development and research combined with testing to develop nuclear weapons. But you're sure Iran can whip one up with one of the couple months right?

America’s choice on Iran: Obama’s peace or Netanyahu's war

...
Anybody who thinks Obama has won, that Israel and the Israel lobby and the Republicans are just going to concede the Iran nuclear deal without a fight, could not be more wrong. For the Israeli and American Jews involved, this is the supreme cause of their lives – preventing another Holocaust, as they see it. The framework agreement announced last Thursday looks to them like Munich. These are the terms they use.

For the American gentile politicians involved, it’s partly this badly misplaced notion of “never again,” partly (for the Republicans) Obamaphobia, partly Islamophobia, and partly fear of the Israel lobby’s wrath if they let Obama and the Iranians sign a final deal, whose deadline is June 30, three months from now.

...

If Bibi, the lobby and the GOP succeed in stymieing this historic, breakthrough deal, the Democrats and the rest of the world will never forget the decisive role Israel played. If the collapse of negotiations leads to an American war with Iran — what could be the first in a series of them — even the Republicans won’t forgive Israel. It will be remembered as “Bibi’s war.” It would reach Israel, too, via Hezbollah and its 100,000 missiles and rockets. The lost chance at peace, the war and the fallout from it would be very bad for America, for Israel, and for America’s Jews. The fight is on for “Obama’s peace.”

It's just a matter of time. Eventually, there will be another Bush/Cheney type in "power." And another Colin Powell will show "proof positive" that Iran broke the treaty.

You sure your opinion of how long things take is credible ??

You think they would just tell you how long it takes ???

Thought you didn't believe any of them.

I can only wonder why the Germans would give israel yet more weapons - don't they realise they are goy only and every bit as expendable as Iranians. Yes I accept the money provided those weapons are paid for although I expect Germany may be given aid to Israel such as my country is for reasons they may not wish their public to know about.

Can anyone imagine if Israel nuked Iran what state the world would be in or the repercussions which would involve all our countries due to Netty's political aspirations? Do people want that act of death on their conscience or to have to face the consequences? People really need to think about this issue and face the possibility - its just as dangerous as the old cold war today and we should have moved on. Israel is stuck in a past that is barely feasible in today's world.

It is a scary situation. If their actions are based on the statements, one could see them decide a first strike is in their interest to prevent them being erased from the map. And indeed, what would follow is more scary and uncertain given the alliances of Iran's and who is in power in the US when or if Israel decided to strike.

To me, the fact they had been flying practice missions on an Iranian strike out into the Med, makes me think they have already decided that if certain circumstances exist then they will strike. Their stated reasoning was if Iran wasn't stopped from getting a nuke and we know how they feel about the framework which is yet to be solidified. They feel it will allow Iran to get a nuke. Personally, it would not surprise me if they already have one from North Korea. There were pictures of an Iranian C130 on a tarmac in North Korea a couple of years back. If they flew one, or more in country then it will be a matter of time before they send one to Israel surreptitiously. This deal saying they can't produce one would make nice cover for them to say we didn't nuke Israel.

I am afraid it will only be a matter of time before Israel determines it is in a position of defending it's existence. And the fact they will have 6 subs capable of sub launched nuclear cruise missiles will become a terrifying prospect. Armageddon will indeed be played out in the middle east.

Iran was never ever after any Nuclear bomb, it has been always a member of NPT, these are propaganda it is just an excuse to put pressure on Iran. Even if this deal is approved and executed accurately by parties, with so much mess in the middle east, they will find another reason for putting pressures on Iran.

According to that warhawk Iran is oh so close to the BOMB! But truth is, he's a liar.

Still calling Netanyahu a liar?

Did you miss the part where it was admitted that Iran really was only 2-3 month away from obtaining a nuke?

Or did that just not fit you agenda so you left it out?

ETA: actually you didn't leave it out, you blatantly lied abut it... sick

Iran has supposedly "almost" had a nuclear weapon for 30, that's right thirty years. If North Korea can develop a nuke, I'm sure Iran could if they wanted by now.

I for one am no longer going to fall for the fear mongering that's been going on for the majority of my life.
