As you all know, the West has been conducting nuclear negotiations with Iran. Now before we got word on what the deal was many here were calling Obama everything from incompetent to anti Semitic. Israel's Netanyahoo has been declaring that this is a bad deal not just for Israel but the world. According to that warhawk Iran is oh so close to the BOMB! But truth is, he's a liar. Sad thing is, many posters here also believed this deal was paving the way for Iran's very first nuke but let's look at what the deal has produced. Turns out it's a good deal, nay, a great deal!

Let's just hope this deal doesn't somehow get destroyed before it can become official! Looking at you Israel.

I'm happy with this deal and you should be too. Guess who else is happy about this deal?

Selfies And Joy In Iran Over Nuclear Deal

I just love how countries with nuclear weapons get to decide who can also have nuclear weapons.

What a bunch of crap.

I wonder what would happen if the US, absolutely unilaterally, said "We are getting rid of 100% of our nuclear weapons, and henceforth will use nuclear energy for only power purposes" and actually did that.

Would anyone follow suit, I wonder?

I don't have a problem with diplomacy I just think it's odd how willing everyone was to work with Iran. A complete 180 from 5 or so years ago. Not much has changed in Iran either. The revolution they had barely changed anything. IMO Iran is getting the short end of the stick. A 98% reduction in enriched uranium in exchange for a lift on sanctions that shouldn't be there in the first place.

This whole thing reminds me of our peace talks with Japan before WWII. One side isn't showing their hand.

Netty is no different to any other world leader in that he has his own private group's agenda that doesn't include the ordinary Israeli despite what they think. He feeds them paranoia which is backed up to an extent by the missiles that the Palestinians toss into Israeli areas. You can't blame the Palestinians, you can only blame men like Netty who thrive on, intimidation, egoistic power trips and a hatred for the goy.

I have Iranian friends who throw up their hands in horror at the attitude and lies Netty tells the world about what Iran is and what its not. Iran hasn't attacked a Western country, we were allies in the past and its joined forces to try to fight ISIS, but the catch is its happy to come into the nuclear treaty groups which Netty disdains and thinks his country is too superior to join. That alone gives it allies he will hate it to have. His nuclear sub is the biggest threat to world peace we have faced for years. How the hell he got it is dire but what he thinks he will do with it is another point.

Although its rumoured Israel is now in bed with the Saudi's in order to rule the Me oil wise, Netty thinks he's safe because Saudi doesn't have nuclear weapons - however with their wealth they can buy what they want immediately from Pakistan and have it hand delivered without even the need for a nuclear sub. Its a pity his paranoia in-flicks the world instead of making it a safer place which he could do immediately by settling the Palestinian issue and stop lying about Iran. If they are beginning to hate him its due to his policies and lies only.

Perhaps the USA forgot to include nuclear weapons for the Saudis in their 'agreement/treaty and certainly would be unlikely to bomb israel were she to destroy Saudi for some capricious reason of her own. That whole area is vested in power struggles.

According to RT Israel gets fifth ‘nuclear-capable’ sub
RT News Article

I only put that as I didn't know they had subs before your post. Sleeping at the wheel I guess.

From the article:

In June 2012, Der Spiegel reported that Germany is actually strengthening Israel’s nuclear capabilities. The magazine claimed that Dolphin-class submarines are equipped with hydraulic ejection systems that enable the underwater launch of Israeli Popeye Turbo SLCM long-range cruise missiles, believed to have nuclear warheads. Israel’s Popeye cruise missile is believed to have a range of up to 1500km and carry a 200kg payload, enough to fit in a nuclear warhead. The first launch of the missile was carried out in 2002 in the Indian Ocean. Thus the German-built submarines are believed to be the backbone of the Israeli nuclear deterrent against Iran. “The submarines are a strong, strategic tool for the IDF. The State of Israel is ready to act anytime, anywhere – on land, sea and air – in order to ensure the security of Israel's citizens,” Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said according to Associated Press.

Still calling Netanyahu a liar?

Did you miss the part where it was admitted that Iran really was only 2-3 month away from obtaining a nuke?

Or did that just not fit you agenda so you left it out?

ETA: actually you didn't leave it out, you blatantly lied abut it... sick

What the US - Iran deal means is that at some point the US will invade Iran.

Even if Iran was working towards nuclear weapons, there is really nothing the US could say about it. If anything, it would be a matter for the UN, and we know the UN doesn't do anything to enforce their resolutions. If they did, UN troops would already be in Israel.

But if Iran makes any kind of deal with the US, they will eventually be accused of breaking that deal. The US will use that as an excuse to invade Iran, just like they did with Iraq.

For their own sake, Iran should just walk away.

Yeah because Netanyahu has never lied about it before

And when he offers such concrete evidence like this

Who dares call him a liar

Oh yes he's a liar. Did I miss what part? I think you misunderstood the information provided. It was said that with Iran's current technology, if they were to pursue the BOMB they would only be months away, or a year away IF they were to pursue the BOMB.

But back the lying politicians, they're all liars. Netanyahoo has been lying for years that Iran is only weeks, months, years away from the BOMB since the early 90's. He parrots the same lie year after year. He even testified to the US that Iraq was also on the path to making the BOMB and that we should invade them back in 03.

The only agenda here is the one politicians pursue because western and Israeli intel agencies all report Iran has no nuke and isn't working on a nuke. I'm sorry you fell for it.

I'm curious as to how you think Iran could be months or a year from developing a bomb, if they haven't done any work on developing nuclear weapons?

You are confused, if Iran wanted to develop a bomb with their current technology. With the deal as it now, if Iran complies and goes forth with it and say a year down the road breaks their deal they will be at least 1 year from making their first bomb, if they were to pursue that route. As it stands now, if Iran were to pursue the bomb aggressively, they could only be a few months from making it. Did you watch the video in the op? It's all explained towards the end it.

Yes I watch the video. But Here's where I'm confused. If Iran aggressively pursue's a bomb they could have it in a few months. That would be impossible unless Iran has already invested research and technology into developing nuclear weapons.

From the beginning they stated their only goal was peaceful use of nuclear energy. If they could be months away from developing a bomb they lied the entire time.

You're not familiar with Iran's nuke program, it was explain in the video but just a refresher, Iran gave up its nuke bomb path back in the early 2000's. But since then Netanyahoo continues to accuse them of making the bomb while ignoring the facts from his own Mossad that they are not.

I'm familiar with Iran's nuclear program and their claims I just think they're lying. They're very claims prove that they have continued to research nuclear weapons.

As for Israel's claims I don't believe most of them either. Because their claims are moot until Iran does its first nuclear bomb test. Once that occurs the world would have plenty of time to react before they complete an operational bomb/missile.
