Maybe the fact that it was irrelevant as it had already been established that that source didn't run the story? As said before.
Today Dmitry Kiselev, director general of the Russian International News Agency "Russia Today", on its French-speaking resource fr.sputniknews.com published confirmation of the statements of the Kremlin press service that Russian President Vladimir Putin, really ready to launch a nuclear attack on Moscow.
Like I said, there was no need for your question about "if", because there clearly is no "if", not now and not at the time of your question.
Wether you were sincere or just backtracking now is an interesting question, but very off topic so......

What the hell is going on over there?
What the hell is going on with ATS?
I mean, seriously, has ATS became a tool for pushing obvious propaganda? And if so, for what purpose? Are they/you trying to see just how big of an influence can ATS have on people's opinion? Why's the "official" ATS so obviously anti-Russia orientated?
I swear, ATS is becoming more and more like a tabloid, judging by the stuff that is being posted by one of the OWNER without checking the validity of source.
Have we( ATS ) lost our independency?
And, no, this is absolutely not off-topic.
NATO has announced that it is launching an “information war” against Russia.
The UK publicly announced a battalion of keyboard warriors to spread disinformation.
It’s well-documented that the West has long used false propaganda to sway public opinion.
Western military and intelligence services manipulate social media to counter criticism of Western policies.
Such manipulation includes flooding social media with comments supporting the government and large corporations, using armies of sock puppets, i.e. fake social media identities. See this, this, this, this and this.

One would think that they would have so many failsafes built into their systems for launching that it would be impossible for one man to launch missiles . Lets hope so . But for mine its propaganda , and bad propaganda at that .
The President of the French Republic, François Hollande, has assimilated what he calls "conspiracy theories" to Nazism and called to prevent their dissemination on the Internet and social networks.
“[Anti-Semitism] maintains conspiracy theories that spread without limits. Conspiracy theories that have, in the past, led to the worst “(…)” [The] answer is to realize that conspiracy theories are disseminated through the Internet and social networks. Moreover, we must remember that it is words that have in the past prepared extermination. We need to act at the European level, and even internationally, so that a legal framework can be defined, and so that Internet platforms that manage social networks are held to account and that sanctions be imposed for failure to enforce”
He then asked the French Socialist Party to prepare new legislation to repress all dissident voices.

Overthrow us, & we'll end it all!
They've created their own Samson Option that Israel threaten everyone with.
I'm surprised they divulged this though...
Crazy!

I tend to think "something very important" happened during Putin's missing days. I do believe there was some level of power struggle, and Putin dare not show until it had been resolved.
I think Putin has survived an attempted coup, not through bloodshed, but through negotiation.
The new Putin is more hawkish, more regionally aggressive, and showing cracks with his troubled alliance with Ramzan Kadyrov (who some analysts say is the source of the power-struggle during Putin's absence).
The Ukrainian story is trash however.

Why this thread is still not in the hoax bin is beyond me.

I do find it quite disturbing that he posted this at midnight on a Sunday. Obviously folks in the states weren't his target audience. Definitely propaganda pushing, the question is why?
