I'm confused what the supposed problem is here. The way I see it, it's one of a few things.

1. Someone is mad because the First Lady made what they deemed a racist comment and they are jealous that they couldn't.
2. Someone is black and offended by the comments.

The audience member asked light heartedly about soul food. Soul Food is mostly fried chicken in the south..chicken soup in the north.

She is correct that President Obama wasn't on the ballot.

And if you are going to blow you lid over someone encouraging voters to vote a party affiliation...damn...you must be equally as pissed at 99.9% of both Dems and GOP. Have you heard any of the mid-term speeches? Michele Obama isn't even running for office, maybe you can find more relevant political figures to scrutinize obscure speeches?

No one is denying "black-on-black" racism exists. But it is NOT reflected in what Michelle Obama said. I can't believe I have to say this, but Just because black people are involved does NOT mean racism is! You see a black person and think "racism"! (2) She was ASKED about Soul Food and responded.
(3) I am pretty sure she told white people to vote democrat as well..and I am pretty sure a thousand other ACTUAL POLITICANS told their constituents the same thing.
