It's not wrapped in a flag, but in a layer of propaganda that only true Americans are white, Christian conservatives that love god, guns, their country, conservatism....and the enemies are immigrants, the poor, socialists, commies, non-Christians and those that disagree politically.

It's become so bad that even the Democrat party is just a "diet" version of the Republican party.

And the poor well everyone knows the rest.

Hell bout the only thing Mexico exports that is noteworthy are drugs, and illegals.

Oh and here's your answer to you question. Mexico is a country that people are from. Thus they have an affinity to it. Great? I don't recall them ever claim that. There's only one that I hear blat that inanity.

I'll answer, if I may.

The flag represents more than just a piece of land between borders. It represents heritage, culture, family, history, memories....all sorts of things. Mexico may not be the greatest place on earth, but it's still where many people came from or call home.

America is the land where you can come to enjoy your freedoms and partake in the melting-pot of liberty.....no matter your native country. You can also fly the flag of your home country because this nation is/was a nation built on the backs of the diverse population.

Isn't that what makes America great? Isn't that what made America what it is today?

That's the best I can do because your question, what makes Mexico so great, is irrelevant. We should be asking, what makes America great? The answer is because you can be anyone from anywhere and you still have the same freedoms.

Sometimes I think people need to take a chill pill.

My brother lives in the States and like his neighbours he flies the flag(s). I just think they are too confused to ask what they are!

Just remember the point is that all countries have issues. Mexico..we know there are issues there. America -we have huge issues with spying on average citizens, drone strikes on children, starting wars etc. But we should all be proud of where we came from. America is the land of the free...supposedly. So WE should be free to fly any flag we want. That's freedom, right? I chose to fly an American flag. Right in my place of business. it's huge! Like 6' by 4' or something. Don't have time to measure it right now. Right on my wall in my business. you can't miss it. I have a mirror on the wall opposite it. A huge mirror so like everywhere you look you see my American flag. It's my right! If I went into another place of business and they had the russian flag flying...well that's their business. If my neighbor has a Mexican flag flying in their yard. that's their business to. We're all free here, in America to do what we want. Amen.

i don't think that "they" think that "mexico is so great" the majority of mexicans illegal or not have come here for a better life, and the majority of mexicans are hard working and are law abiding citizens. it is a shame that the illegals have to break the law to get here and its a shame that their country is so screwed up. i think the flag waving has to do with their pride of their culture more so than trying to think that their country is better than ours.

They live in Mexico full-time and enjoy better weather, a more relaxed lifestyle, and a host of other benefits—including affordable top-quality health care and a much lower overall cost of living.

I had a great time there aside from one instance with the cops but now if I were to be honest the cops aren't any better here now. Dental is very affordable there as well but I have a dentist I see in Costa Rica that I like so I stopped going to Mexico.
