Russia also sent the "2nd aid convoy" into Ukraine.

I guess we will have to wait and see, but what a coincidence that the first one put a new vigor in the separatists not to mention they seem to be better armed after that.

But of course that seemed to be overlooked for some reason.

Things are heating up again. Link from the Guardian for anyone who want's to check it out.

On Saturday, Russia sent a convoy across the border, but Ukraine's top leaders have remained largely silent, underscoring how dramatically the mood has shifted in the Kiev government since a ceasefire deal was struck.

Russian reports claimed the convoy was loaded with humanitarian aid, but the border crossing did not have the approval of Kiev or oversight of the international Red Cross.

Possible or it could be just humanitarian aid. Unless someone actually looks at what's in them all we have now is a bunch of Schrodinger's trucks.

By mid-October the EU nations would require a constant supply of Russian gas. Junta's phone calls to Berlin and Brussels will not even be answered then.

This suggests that Kiev has until mid-October to try another push to kill off the Donbass rebellion. However, when another major power like Russia is supporting the rebels, it will be nearly impossible for Junta forces to gain victory.

When town of Ilovaisk was attacked by Junta, i.e. a near suburb to close off Donetsk's supply lines, the rebels sent in a message that they can hold off only for few days. Then immediately Russia sent its VDV and the tide turned and rest is pleas and cries on all sorts of media to help the entrapped troops and Nazi battalions.

Same thing will happen again if Junta makes another attempt. Russia will find Junta force concentrations via drones and satellites. Then send in (many are already inside Donbass region) specialists in artillery and rockets and rest is trashed out concentrations of Ukorps and their machines.

By end of November when snow can start to set in and weather gets much more cold, the desertions in Ukorps will rise significantly for many more reasons. No fun living in trenches in cold weather to begin with. Heard some where the latest wave of Junta's mobilization yielded only 25% of the results. Sadly they were asking even old folks upto the age of 63 to pitch in the military matters.

Better for Junta to write off Novorossiya region and focus on left over area. If Junta persists any further, it is likely Putin might go all the way to Kiev and area and throw out the fascists to that miserable patch of land near the Polish border. Problem will be solve for long term in Russian perspective.

The nationalists in the Ukraine aren`t too happy atm.

Neither are the neo-nazi battalions like the Azov and others. They may be coming for Poroshenko before Putin gets a chance.

I don't think Poroshenko is in a position to write off Novorossiya region. He might have to flee himself if he did. Best case for him if he does write of the region is he's tossed out of office and that's probably the best he could hope for.

Don't think he should get off that lightly though, he was worse than the Israeli's bombing Gaza. He was bombing his own people.

A nationalist maidan i.e. fascist maidan of volunteer battalions will trigger another civil war in West Ukraine this time.

Ukorps standard army is not happy at all with the fascists. Even in hospitals, two wounded groups have to be separated as they are always fighting and blaming each other. Fascists have tried to get whole General Staff of armed forces removed, only to be taken over by Nationalistic elements.

If fascists try to create problems, Ukorps standard army will throw the Junta out, crush the fascists with guns and declare martial law i.e. military dictatorship in Kiev.

Junta has been making "wrong wrong wrong" decisions since it started Maidan 1.0

Ukrainian economy is suffering as a result. Military might step in to end the chaos.

You are right about the sad state of Porky Poro.

The series of wrong decisions that he has taken makes me confirm that billions that he made in candy business were not as a result of good business acumen but standard corrupt practices which helped common criminal becoming oligarchs over night.

Basically, uncles in right places, access to capital from outside, bribe the government officials a little...............and next thing is you own the whole state enterprises putting only a dime or quarter on a dollar value.

Then you become a President and order bombing of the civilians and kill 2500s of them with no remorse. Evil villains.

Sure, you are correct on Yanu the Thief-o-vich. The short fall on budget/treasury was reported at $37B after his presidency.

If he has any human morality left then he will make every effort to return $36B of Ukrainian money. $1B he and cronies can keep among themselves. $100M is not bad sum at all to live lavishly in retirement.

His son had value of $500M via some telecomm ownership. Do not know what happened to his business interests now. Must have been same corrupt modus operandi to build his business via his family connections and power.

Coming back to the topic.............it seems that Junta forces will try to attack many areas all at once. This would be in an attempt to ISOLATE 3 cities i.e. Donestsk, Lughansk and Marioupol from each other.

Then they would hope to deal with NAF in a local manner without any supplies of ammo and essentials.

It all sounds good on paper but Russia would not let that happen. Kremlin is way too much invested already in this project of NovoRossiya and would not let Kiev Junta get anything let alone victory over the rebels.

Even after NovoRossiya in real shape, Moscow might still create chaos in Kiev and try to place a friendly government there.

The best scenario for Moscow would be Ukorps Army barges into Rada and imprisons the Junta and its types. Then military dictatorship takes place which a) declares political leaning towards Moscow b) cleans out the Nazi and Fascist elements from Ukrainian society by making them illegal and punishable by 10 years of harsh jail times.

Ukraine becomes like Belarus under Lukashenko.

Putin's vision of informal USSR reincorporated becomes a reality in the form of Customs Unions.

EU nations take a sigh of relief and thank Putin for uninterrupted supply of Russian gas...........year after year !!

NATO also feels relaxed upon the cancellation of the further Eastwards expansion project.

Vladmir Putin wins a Nobel Peace Prize............finally !!

Care to provide what these wrong decisions you think he made?

And if you want to talk about someone who got his fortune the easy way you may want to look into how Putin amassed 70 billion when his previous job was a KGB agent?

You do understand that Mariupol is under control of Ukraine correct?

So why would they attack that area? You are dead set on total war in Ukraine which is really disturbing, and you may want to talk to someone about this morbid fascination you have.

And exactly what world are you living in and how does Belarus even come into play as they have no dog in this fight?

But you may want to read this...

There is a bitter irony at the heart of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s annexation of Crimea. Putin’s short-term victory is already coming at the expense of his most cherished long-term strategy -- the creation of a Eurasian Union, a trade union linking Russia and its closest neighbors. In other words, as the invasion expands Russian territory, it will diminish Russian influence in the very places he’d like to increase it. One need only look to Belarus, which is already beginning to hedge against its alliance with Moscow, to see why.

Russia’s partners are understandably spooked. Early in the Ukraine crisis, when pro-Western protesters were camping out in Kiev, Aleksandr Lukashenko, Belarus’ president, seemed happy to see Russia encourage the Ukrainian regime to crack down. Like Putin, he had no desire to see Ukraine’s fellow Slavs in Russia or Belarus copying the slogans and tactics of the Ukrainian protestors. (Lukashenko is still scarred by the demonstrations that followed the controversial 2010 elections, in which he won a fourth term in office.) But Russia’s military intervention in Crimea was a very different matter. Lukashenko pointedly refused to send observers to Crimea’s March 15 referendum. He has also defied Moscow by saying that he will work with the new pro-Western government in Kiev (which Putin has described as “illegitimate”).

Belarus isn't as cozy to Russia as you think.

Your not being honest again the information about Putins wealth comes mainly from one source that was repeated by gutter journalism in the press

As I reported on the other thread a telegraph reporter asked why people believed that information source

They believed it because they want too,as it helps their anti Russian stance and let's be honest Putin is the figurehead for Russia now and so becomes is target

In one of these carbon copy links you posted it admitted that Putin turned down a bribe,if that doesn't show ones morality I don't know what does!

Putin isn't perfect by any means and his comments about collateral damage during Chechnya show he's just as evil about bombing civilians who are unlucky enough to be by a target as his western counter parts

But to you and a few on here he's the richest man in the world with the most expensive watches on his wrist

Your source for the Putin wealth Is a liar telling stories the western governments want out the there to try and make him unpopular in Russia,it's pure smear tactics and it ain't working as it's based on lies
