The confusion is you thinking Russia can`t do without the money.

It`s the economy of the EU who can`t do without the gas supply.

And if America can print, why can`t Russia do the same, and China has enough cash also in reserve to help out. Russia has vast amounts of resources of interest to China. China will be glad to lend to get their hands on those future energy resources.

Russia need not print, China has $2Trillion in reserves. Recent sanctions stopped the 90 day commercial loans for Russian businesses. No problem once Beijing provides them. Both China and India can supply Russia with food items that have been banned for importation from EU by Russia.

US is trying hard to replace Russia as the gas supplier to EU but it will take time and have higher costs and much more vulnerabilities. Several studies have concluded that US gas is most efficiently supplied to Japan rather than EU.

1. The BRICS bank is the solution to financing problems. There are several other banks that can provide financing today - banks in Russia, China, India together.

2. China's reserves are not needed by Russia. Russia do have its own reserves which are significant.

3. Food will be provided by South America, India, central Asia etc.

4. Engineering goods will be provided by China, India etc.

We shall see how the sanctions can be successful.

Where is NATO army in Mariupol? I want to see it. Pictures please.

And the NATO fools better provide evidence rather than beating about the bush.

My advice to Western readers - stop believing your press and politicians as they are full of lies.

Some of us understand this but the sheer volume and din from the MSM over here is horrendous. Most folks have fallen under the propaganda spell of the elites and trans-national corporations.

I'd hazard a guess that most Americans have zero idea what's going on in Ukraine. Those that have some idea seem to accept the idea that this is Russia's fault, unfortunately. Doubtful most of them even know who our Secretary of State is let alone who Victoria Nuland or Poroshenko are. It's pretty sad.

First the bricks bank hasnt even been created second Russia is expected to contribute to it not use it. D you really believe China a developed nation wants to carry Russia ? Do you think India a developing nation wants to invest their capitol into another economy to prop it up when the are supposedly a member? The bric bank is being created to help the5 countries develop trade and build economies around them to strengthen their economies. Russia has destroyed any economic development of its neighbors exactly opisit of what other members want to do. Not to mention its unlikely Russia will beable to put up the 10 billion they want to create it. Than theirs the fact China will be leaving bric soon the debate is already starting in China for two reasons. One they dont like the idea of working with India and for their continued development time to move on having a larger role in the world bank which they already started. China doesnt want to have to carry the other nations which is exactly whats starting to happen.

What are you taking about ?

Russia has the fifth largest reserve in the world and has enough to weather it out for 2-3 years. It also can keep selling oil, so it can carry on without gas revenues. The EU has only for a few months gas reserves and after that the EU economy gets hit really hard without Russian gas.

There should be a rule on ATS that any evil moron who repeatedly twists the facts should be given some sort of reprimand.

China is investing $100B to $300B in Indian industries
www.channelnewsasia.com...

BRICS bank power is so much that World Bank and IMF will lose significance. These two institutions are repeatedly used by West to dominate over other nations.

Chinese money sitting at home on CD rates is barely able to keep up with inflation. Hence investing in high growth places like Russia, India, Africa makes much more sense.

I am looking forward to SCO becoming a military alliance which will put NATO on check and all the global tensions and regime changes will come to halt. Good for common people in third world nations.

So much for twisting the facts.

Yeah thats why China keeps telling Russia they need to find a diplomatic solution and needs to work towards peace. China isnt willing to carry Russia thats not the way partners work. Now if they treat Russia like their third world neighbors that may be another matter but realize that only goes as far as a benefit for China. Now China isnt going to put their economy on the line for Russia never happen. If it came down to trading with the west or Russia who do you think they would choose?

Lets look China exports 356 billion to the EU another 324.5 to the US and 38.9 to Russia. So who do you think they would choose?

You got to stop believing RT their lying to you.

no the west is fast dying so needs to be offloaded.

China is a clever country. It knows the US and EU are so much debt laden that their economies are spent up. Growth is in Asia and Africa and that's where they are investing.

Happy Dying !!

This has nothing to do with brics the visit to India is an attempt to harm Japanese investments in India. But dont believe for one second those two countries like each other. I suggest you look at the current state of affairs between the two

Thats funny your clueless as to what that is i guess economics is not your strong suit is it? This is money a bank has on hand in foreign currencies to exchange funds. These are normally securities transfers from foreign banks. They try to control this to control inflation but it isnt money you use to pay bills its only value is attempting to control exchange rates for the Ruble.

See Russia recently for example increased their exchange rate for the US dollar meaning they now give you more Rubles for a dollar this is done to make people exchange their money to the ruble. Unfortunately for Russia their federal reserve is going to have to pump alot more money to keep the ruble to keep it alive before the year end.

Don`t worry though, I`m not clueless about it.

Russia`s debt to GDP is very low, and because of that they won`t get in trouble soon and have much room to borrow if actual needed.
