One of the B-1s IFEd into Fairford the other day. No word on what the emergency was, but he was met by ARFF on the runway.

I noticed that in the news. Any idea how long they are here for ? Might give me a chance to nip down for the day.

Well, we know it couldn't have been a fire, 'cos the bloody rain here would put it out

I hear hydrangeas love that sorta weather. Everybody loves hydrangeas right?

Would be cool if in the next D.U.D.E. episode he takes it upon himself to fry some poor womans hydrangeas with its AESA, cause, like... they were irritatingly encroaching a driveway or something. Much to the delight of her husband. Who was last seen jubilantly dancing in the street in joy at the spontaneous and inexplicable smitting of the bush. Thank you god neighbors reported hearing him exclaim. But the real reason being.... D.U.D.E hates hydrangeas.

There was talk they might be there as long as RIATT. They're planning several weeks though. They're flying with Saber Strike and BALTOPS for now.

Probably not. They're flying with a number of foreign militaries in places where things could be seen.

For everybody, I'm in Fresno.
It wasnt nearly as dark as it seems in the video, and although I could see it fine with the naked eye, it was hard to see on the LCD screen. The "where'd it go" was in reference to not being abler to frame the object.
It came from the west, to the south of me, and as it got nearly due south of me it turned south west and continued on till it was out of site.

here a second clip after i re aquired it

Hey zaph out of the 3 bombers in that shot you have a personal favorite either due to nostalgia or experience working with.

Personally the Buff is the prettiest one of the three to me. That wingspan. ❤

I never got to play with the B-2 much. Both the B-1 and B-52 have fun memories though. I think the BUFF ranks higher though. My father started his career on them so I grew up on B-52 stories.

Didnt you have to recieve a dozen of them on short notice at Hickam one time due to a storm in Guam. They had to relocate them to kep them safe or something. You guys had to hustle to get them on the apron in time for the next one to come in. One after the next non stop all night. I know you got a cool story about that or something.

Fifteen with then telling us they were inbound a few hours before they arrived for a typhoon evacuation. Park one, head to the next spot. We got a break after every two because they only had two Base Ops vehicles that could talk them in.
