If you are referring to the poster who spoke of being aware of their spiritual mission that was in regards to becoming aware of ones true self while following a spiritual path in life, I'm sure he didn't mean it as proclaiming to be a messiah of the sort. I do not understand where you are getting all of this from, you are assuming a lot from easily misunderstood concepts that are being discussed.

Size doesn't matter. Speed of sound travel is constant for any object in the atmosphere.
Sorry about that. As far as I know hollywood effects are to blame for this confusion. They combine sound and explosions together. Either stupid on their part or by intent, it is misleading.

(how do you know a smaller chunk of it didn't already go by ahead of the large mass, causing the sound of a billion jets? a mass this large would almost certainly be more than just one piece)

In the vacuum of space pieces of meteor don't accelerate ahead of each other. If anything upon breakup they slowly spread apart maintaining the same velocity. The meteor broke up as it "ablated" in the atmosphere. Smaller mass pieces would tend to slow down and fall behind the larger pieces as they slowed due to friction, not accelerate ahead.

Any sound they make "rushing along" would be masked by the much louder sonic booms produced. Since the atmosphere is most of 200 miles thick, depending on the angle, it is impossible for you to hear it pass overhead at such distances. Even if it passed a mile over your head the sound would still take 5 seconds to reach you.

Have you ever watched lightning and counted the seconds to thunder? Each second is a 1000 feet. In the video I presented of the Russian meteor 30 seconds go by before the sound arrives and that is after they ran outside and pointed their cell phone cam at the vapor trail. The meteor is already long gone from view. They did not hear it go by and then look up.

I do not fulfill the desires of disrespectful people. If someone chooses to speak in ignorance he will undoubtedly comprehend in ignorance and I reserve the right to choose who I give my energy to.

You know it's not my fault if someones belief system is so weak that they have to lash out against anything and everything that opposes that view. As an atheist, I do not believe in such things as I used to, but I have a small allowance for the tiny possibilities of random precognition as, there is much about the mind, body and universe we still don't understand. That doesn't mean I've ever seen even 1 example of it. I have not. I detest the fearmongers that make proclamations and never admit wrong or keep extending the doom ever onward. Like a lot of others on this board, I'm frequently amused/annoyed at the many doomwatch prophecies that come and go.

And I dread the possibility that someone wouldn't post something like this out of fear of rejection and ridicule.

You had an experience and felt compelled to warn. I think it's a great thing to put yourself out there just in case and I would hope that I'd have the same cajones to do so if it were me. I know it's only a matter of time before something big goes down just because of all the increasing factors contributing to any number of horrible things. Along with my growing disdain and despair for society as it is now, I'm actually somewhat fascinated that it's all still holding itself together with everything I read these days.

I wish more of the soothsayers were humble like yourself and that the critics were not so eager to beat down every last possibility of a warning.

I have never posted it anywhere. I have only just begun to actually write things down. I am actually considering posting one dream in particular that has bothered me so much that even now I can't get it out of my head and I had this dream back in November.

I know it in the same way that I can explain quantum theory to a person when i have never taken a physics class or chemistry when I have never taken so much as a high school chemistry class, and have never been taught how to solve equations...I have a form of dyslexia that makes math almost impossible for me...so much so that I never finished high school...yet passed the chemistry test for my college entrance exams on the first try. When that happens to me, I literally feel like someone or something else is controlling my body...like a marionette. And I can do nothing but ride along and watch.

I don't dream. Like...I almost never dream. My whole life. But when I do dream, whatever I dreamt comes true. My entire family was frightened of me when I was a child. As a teenager I was committed to a psych facility because my mother wanted the doctors to "fix" me. I see dead people. All the time. There is much more, but I'm not going to hijack the OP's thread, and I honestly don't know if I really want to tell everything. You see, I have spent my entire life trying to hide it.

I wish I had proof that I could hold up for people to see. It would certainly make my life easier. But there is no proof. Just what I know. I am writing things down, a little every day. When I feel I can translate them into a cohesive body of text, I will type it all out. I don't know what the OP was seeing. But I do know that if he felt strongly enough to share that with all of us, despite knowing that people were going to mock him for it, then that is enough for me to consider the possibility that he was actually shown an event ( be it past or future) and he was shown for a reason.

Regarding the Comet or Meteor, this has been reported by many seers over the years... all centering around the latter end of the 2020s, 2029 and onwards. I myself have seen the results of severe natural fallout and disasters around these times and continuing through to calm around 2036-37. As to what the first domino that falls is maybe an impact maybe techtonics or volcanoes and just maybe both.... The impact and the following years of natural upheavals.

Eitherway, when everything known or yet to be known and unkowns or yet to be unknowns are an availible Known, such is the connection to the self. death is merely a transition.

What if the mass of rubble had a close encounter with another object on its way in, like the moon? the gravitational forces could spread out the mass in different directions causing some pieces to enter the earth's atmosphere before the main mass. I don't think this is going to happen.

I think when meditating you should do some kind of protection ritual or something I dunno but you can probably come across any number of different beings. Some may try to frighten you. He said he was begging to know why the world was falling apart. That means at least a part of his mind was focusing on the messed up things in the world. Who knows what this train of thought could attract? Now it might be impossible for him to meditate without having this in mind. Maybe that was the goal of whatever did this to him.

Op... look at it this way. You have your Source, right? Well if The Source is going to make, or allow, this to happen, then it's a part of the plan, or a part of what must happen, right? So don't be terrified. Be at peace with it. After all... There are other worlds than these...

Many worse possibilities exist other than an instant death. For example, what if man invents immortality and imposes it on every human, and THEN the meteor sanitizes the earth's surface leaving it molten for hundreds of years and nobody can escape the pain because they cannot die? See, death isn't all that bad. It's a fate we all must meet. Do not be afraid.

People that challenge or criticize aren't intending to be disrespectful, they are critiquing point of view (POV) and evidence. Some do it better than others.

Anyway, I believe you had such a dream. I have had similar ones, too. I am careful however not to claim any special powers, alluding to anything like Prophetic or Visionary status. Thats where a lot of people will draw firm lines in the sand. Especially here.

I understand and totally empathize where you are coming from. So you know, you appear sensitive and come across quite rational. Your humbleness and trepidation about revealing your gift is good. You will eventually realize that that gift is meant to embellish others lives as well as your own.

I and others would love to hear your input on these boards regarding your cognitive and dream impressions. So hard to ignore negativity from some here. But becomes easier with time. When you are strong enough and moved by the spirit you will know.

I have only recently started and finished meditating myself, but when i did i had similar "visions" and experiences, which made me want to never do it again, im being very serious here, i just made an account just so i could reply to you...

I envisioned the end of the world, and all i could see and hear was fire, flames and screams, i know its going to be within my life time, soon, but i don't know when, millions of people suffering, everyone will be effected, no one can stop or escape it, and fire everywhere, it drove me insane, i tried to warn friends and family but obviously they wouldn't understand, but i couldn't help it, i burst into tears in the middle of the street begging friends to listen to me, but no one believes me...

So i got placed into a mental facility for a couple weeks, until they realized it was not drug related at all and apparently i am now a "paranoid schizophrenic" ive educated many different doctors students, because i was self aware of what i was experiencing at the time and they find my mind interesting, there is alot more to this story which i will not go into, it involves reaching enlightenment and infinite awareness, i went on a journey, it was as if i had become a plant, i felt a strong relationship with mother earth and the moon, sun stars, the universe and every living being, it was beautiful and horrifying, all i could feel the pain mixed with pure love... what have i learnt other then we are all pretty much screwed and its our own doing?, well first off consciousness is movement, every planet, star, galaxy atom, every exists as a living organism in this universe, and can transmit a natural form of "information" similar to telepathic communication, a universal language to all things interconnected deity's in a web of mass consciousness which we are only sharing in these vessels for a short period of time, be kind to mother earth, our progress is constantly being monitored, by extra terrestrials and nature/god itself, and our fellow creatures of earth are worried, they feel it coming too, like a stick in the river of consciousness, call me crazy all you want i am free to believe, you will soon start to realize this also, and will start seeing more, and more bad news, build up, reach mainstream media.

Nature suffering by the hands of man, and there is nothing i can do about it, people will look up, and a huge, huge, huge change is coming, and i fear the safety of my family and friends, while everyone remains oblivious to the deadly chemicals they consume, the unnatural unhealthy lifestyles, its sickening to witness what we have become, but it is not our fault at all, we are molded by this corrupt society at the hands of the rockerfellas/rothchilds, anyways im swaying up the subject here.

I agree. Remember the Jupiter impacts by that comet? It broke up due to tidal forces in Jupiters gravity well. What an awesome display of power. The "string of pearls" comet chain was the result.

"Shoemaker Levy Nine"

Those objects were differently acted upon than the single object that encountered earths atmosphere. There is quite clear video captured on a dash cam from beginning to end of it first entering the atmosphere and streaking by at many thousands of miles per hour.

"It" being a single object…
ETA: In my own mind the most awesome event captured on video in the history of the world. It was so fleeting, and yet preserved from beginning to fiery end (just because the car turned). The region barely escaped a tremendous tragedy. We can see it enter, begin to heat up and at the brightest point "detonate" (breakup is a mild term for what actually occurred) in the atmosphere. Just purely unimaginably spectacular.

Thank you very much for your response. It's reassuring to speak to people who have different beliefs but still be able to respect each other none the less. I have met hundreds of people from all walks of life that have a deep rooted instinct that is screaming within that some great change is on the horizon and I believe it is far more than just imagination, as I'm sure you all feel this as well.

You have a strong sense of perception as do most posters in this thread and it's such a great feeling knowing that there are people like you out there.

Dreams should be shared, I'm all for it. What I have a problem with is when a member reading the thread takes it as a call to action of some sort. One poster on here spoke about how he now knows he must complete his mission after reading the OP and that the OP should join him on this mission. The poster never explained what "the mission" is and the OP responded carelessly with an affirmative. "The Mission" could be just about any action and unless the OP is a mind reader he has no idea what he has just put in motion.

ATS has had a couple of members who made national news (in a very bad way) due to how they took our polite agreements on the world situation and taking action. I'm trying to make it clear to the OP that he has a responsibility to be careful about his responses and to not inadvertently put something into motion that he never intended to.

My friend I share your suffering, by far the hardest moments in my life were when I reached a new level of mind and saw how truly backwards everything appears in the world. I saw how everyone was in such destructive states of being, the hatred, the malice, the greed running rampant, and if you happened to attempt to make someone aware of their condition you get automatically labeled as a nutcase and face the possibility of getting locked up like yourself, which I am so very sorry to hear that happened to you. I always like to point out to these types of people to truly meet someone who has lost their mind, they do not speak clearly or comprehensively, they do not understand vast concepts of thought, and they would be performing strange gestures like beating the toilet with a bag of oranges in an attempt to flush it, etc. If you can logically communicate with another being, you are definitely mentally sane.

It's saddening that people would rather find comfort in lies than freedom in Truth. I completely agree with your finishing statement, none of us really know what's going to happen or how it's going to go down, but one thing is certain, we all know it's coming.
