When I got home Friday I announced to Mrs C
"I am not man, I am a spraying machine"
She said "That's a shame I was hoping for a man this
weekend."

Suffice to say iy wasn't a shelf she wanted putting up.

Pop on in, I have a Keurig, one cup at a time, dark, rich full of aroma. mmmmmm

About the talking thing, I know! The wonders of modern science. So cool. What part of Australia are you in? I am in the Midwest of America, Missouri. Conservative, farm economy mostly, settled by Bohemians way back there. I don't exactly fit in. lol

Mid north coast eastern Aus.
Over the road from a 32km long beach with sand dunes 1.5km wide...

Surfing - fishing - camping - 4x4'ing the dunes !

Bohemians at heart !!

Your definition of Bohemian is the one I like. Those who settled here are from what used to be Czechoslovakia. Those kind of Bohemians. lol Hard working, fundamental minded folk. A bit rigid for my tastes. Nice, but rigid.

I know what you mean , cornerstone - good hard working folk.
Seriousness was intoned due to circumstance.

Their offspring are - however much more laid back and willing to laugh; not only at the world but at themselves !!

Bugger that!

It's still spring!
I hope we get plenty of rain soon, else we will be facing a nasty bushfire season.

Meantime - Thomas Cooper and Sons have relief for a searing thirst ...

No No NO NO NOOOO!

More rain now = more green growth = more fuel for bushfire = hotter bush fire.

What state are you in?

Mid nth. coast NSW.

Lush green is far better than dry brown as far as lightening strikes are concerned.

My ex. is from Adelaide, so I know the dry heat you experience there.

Tough new laws on arsonists will hopefully curtail the human/sub-human element.
