Those streaks are lights from aircraft from the exposure time.

it'll be intresting to see if anyone in LA reports seeing anything and if so, the descriptions they give...

I would like to point out that the black dots remained in the sky all this time and did not change position at all.

Nothing quite says dust on a camera lens like immobile black dots….
That would be my guess anyway.

Isn’t there anyone on this site that is actually in the area who can see the sky? This webcam thing is too unreliable, too many unknown factors.

Well I think it is night and this camera is set on a very slow shutter speed.
So that trail's might actually be jet blures.

The black dot's and a lot other dots seems to be on the glas of the camera. (compared 6 frames). In the frame comperation you can see some stars moveing. (although a little fast hu?)

selfless, can you upload that strange color supposily camera error picture
in its full size somewhere?
Would like to compare it with the other frames.

I agree was a funny online session!

But seems to be the promised show didn't happen. Ok maybe we have to wait for reports of LA.

couple of different looking streaks in the upper left of the towercam making a 'T' shape, anyone see that?

Hay, a falling star….
How’s about that, I got a screen cap of it…
Yeah I see the cross looking thing too…
I don’t know what to think of that.

Another weird anomaly, look at this line in the sky, it looks like stars but stars don't appear out of no where in a straight line of clusters..

I have no image hosting service.
Anyone get the streak that looks like a falling star?
The cross thing was gone in the next shot, pixelation of the clouds perhaps?

that almost looks like the pulse detonation engine 'doughnut on a rope' contrail..

Huh another big line in the sky, this ain't a shooting star nor a contrail.

It looks like a giant rod.

lol, does look like a 'rod' doen't it.

we should try and get the exposure time etc data for the camera and also maybe correlate the take-off, landing times of aircraft in the area.
