Its warmer in Alaska than my town in Southern Ca. near the beach. We will be lucky to hit 70 today. And the rest of the spring and summer has been the same.

Coolest summer we've had here in easten Washington in 16 years.

Nice to see lower 80's and upper 70's in July. Might be 90 this weekend but I don't mind it.

All the news channels are showing the temps in RED to scare you.. LOL

In Europe north of the Alps, not hot. Unseasonably cool and wet.

Cheers

Here in the UK we have the Jet Stream stuck south of us over Europe so getting constant lows from the Atlantic feeding in.

Northerly winds all next week so will be colder and wetter than usual.

It is, the global warming pushers are trying to shove the "Heat index" that is actually manufactured because the global warming real measured temperatures do not match the agenda.

But as always is those that love the doom porn of global warming and are drinking the weather channel Koolaid like crazy.

It's going to be 80 in Michigan today, but I'm on my way to a a flight to the Turks and Caicos and I'll remote work from there for a few weeks. Temp there today is going to be 86, with a carribean water temp of 84. Not so bad. My sister in law in Cape Coral states the heat has been awful, the canal smells and her pool is 90 and she's constantly battling algae in it due to temps

Weather here has been strange all spring and summer so far. We have actually been cooler and cloudier than normal. A few hot days this past week that were hotter than normal and I welcomed them, because I kept think, when is summer going to finally get here?

But the wind! We are breazy here. And windy as heck in the fall thru spring from the East that are called Santana Winds (or Santa Anna Winds by the gringos). Devil winds. The rest of the year its not bad...and it's nice in between.

We also get gales in the winter coming off the water.

Yesterday, a big dark whirlwind came over the water and headed inland. My friend said she was looking to see if any cows were flying in it. Like a mini tornado. It was hot, then got cloudy, then this dark whirling cloud past over.

A few nights ago, something similar must have happened. It woke me up. I actual thought in my half sleep, oh damn! The magnetic pole must have just shifted. Then I fell back asleep.

In the morning I found a heavy patio unbrella up against the fence on it's side on the wall of my bedroom window. A gale force wind lifted it off and sent it into the fence.

Unusual for this time of year.

Two branches down on our Buddleia.

It's more like October than July here.

Every single day this month has been over 110 degrees in Phoenix, AZ. Old record was 18 consecutive days in 1973. Currently we are at 31 consecutive days over 110. And also almost or did break the most consecutive days over 115.

It was a very summer day today in southern GA, I was amazed how it felt, humidity was low, and it was a nice breeze in shaded areas, I spend most of the day outdoors today.

The weather channel was targeting with global warming in the southwest, but darn since I can remember that area has been always unusually hot in the summer in July, I lived in the high desert 29 palms for 3 years and while extremely hot in summer it was a dry heat, I spend lots of time outdoors, to me the summers in south GA, are worse than the southwest, due to the humidity.

I’ve lived here my entire life, and yes the temp always can get this high, but its never been over 110 every single day for the month of July.

Monsoon is a dud so far this year for the Phoenix metro. Up north is getting it every day though.
