I am in Central Florida. It was 92F with a heat index of 110F yesterday. It wasn't bad to be honest. I was expecting far more humidity when I went to pick my son up. He is at enviro camp this week and he is outside! They are in shade most of the time and if it gets too hot they go inside the center.

I predict nothing will happen here as this in't usual here. It gets hotter every year. We have hurricane season right now so I worry more about August-September when hurricanes REALLY come through here.

Some of that haze might be dust off the Sahara. There was a story in our news about how it was killing our air quality all the way up in KC this morning.

It's back again???

Apparently, as opposed to smoke off the Western fires which was the last thing that created nasty haze.

I took a picture yesterday on my way home... You can see the haze in the distance, but the picture doesn't do justice.

And this is from an hour ago when I left for lunch.

Strange the other day I had to throw away my outside thermometer. I usually check temps when I check mail everyday. Oddly is said 80F, but it was not anywhere near that. So I checked online it said 67F, but the thermometer outside insisted that it was 80F. Wasn't broken or loose from it's mount. I took out a couple screws and brought it in and ran it under cold water and then it started dropping. It like got stuck at 80 weird.

Gretta's a local band for me and I think their second album is much better than their first. Now that they have relocated to Nashville we'll see what happens.

Good news. It MAY get as low as 58 tonight with normal temperatures this weekend. Then back into the broiler next week.

I’m shaving my head here in another hour or so.

You're crazy, and Led Zeppelin isn't putting out new albums.

Their latest album, I think from 2021, is pretty good.

Mostly cloudy and 98° today... Back in 2011, we had like 65 days of reaching over 100° and more than 90 straight days with not a single raindrop. That was the worst Summer I'd ever seen.

That's how our forecast looks as well over here in NW Louisiana, and rare, too. The biggest thing I'm noticing that we're having with this that we never have is the wind.

I like them because I get tired of the sound of today's music, plus I'm a huge classic rock fan. I wish more bands would start playing the older sound. Pop needs to get back to the 80's pop sound.
