I follow a few yachting channels and a few weeks before the invasion a Russian billionaire pulled their yacht in the middle of a refit from one of the german yards and had it moved back to Russia.

Since then there have been several Russian yachts seized on non Russian yards.

So the billionaire who moved his early was clearly in the know of what was about to come since its very unusual to move a yacht in the middle of a refit.

However more importantly it also indicates to me that that Billionare was also aware of the international backlash that the Russians were going to get from the invasion.

So Yeah I think Putin took into account the backlash being played out.

Overall, this invasion has been one of the least eventful ever. The media is now showing a dog sitting next to its master who's laying in an open field waiting to "sniper" a Russian, if some cross his land.

Agreed. To put it in perspective 400+ Americans are dieing every single day from Fentanyl.

Trump had to try 4 years to not get approved for $4 billion for the southern border wall, where most of the Fentanyl is coming from. Biden got $14 billion in aid to Ukraine approved in under a week. We can see where America's priorities are and it's not protecting our own.

You also NEVER see these stories on the MSM when Ukrainian missiles kill civilians, like the Ukrainian missile that killed 23 in Donetsk yesterday

The MSM will also not show the people in the Donbass region celebrating that the Ukrainian forces are being pushed out of their cities and towns for the first time in 8 years. There was a man on a Crimean news channel with his family outside in a town in Donbass who said it was the first day he an his family felt safe outside in their yard in 8 years now that Ukrainian forces had to retreat out of his area. We (as in most people in the west) will NEVER see these stories where Russian forces have liberated entire communities.
