"The data is consistent with a study released last week by the CDC - Vaccinated people may transmit the Delta variant now responsible for 80% of COVID cases in the U.S, just as easily as the unvaccinated." (childrenshealthdefense.org)

“So the more Delta is infectious, the more reason for concern,” Kondrashov said. “By having a situation where you vaccinate everybody, a vaccine-resistant mutant actually gains a selective advantage.”

Experts warned for months vaccines could cause more dangerous COVID variants.

And covid started in a wet market and NOT in a lab...who knows the truth. It's whatever one wants to believe at this point. Run for your lives!

Could you please post a source for that information, because I`m pretty sure the Delta variant came from India after their gene therapy campaign.

I don't think anyone still believes it started in the wet market. The wet market was just in the vicinity. There are strong reasons to believe it didn't even come from bats (primarily because bats do not carry the particular virus. They can't even catch it due to different ACE2 receptors).

Vaccinated People May Play Key Role in Aiding Evolution of More Dangerous COVID Variants, Study Says
According to research published last week in Scientific Reports, the highest risk for establishing a vaccine-resistant virus strain occurs when a large fraction of the population has already been vaccinated but the transmission is not controlled.

childrenshealthdefense.org...

Experts warned for months vaccines could cause more dangerous COVID variants.

According to research published last week in Scientific Reports, vaccinated people may play a key role in helping SARS-CoV-2 variants evolve into those that evade existing COVID vaccines.

The researchers concluded three specific risk factors that favor the emergence and establishment of a vaccine-resistant strain. They are: a high probability of initial emergence of the resistant strain; high number of infected individuals; and low rate of vaccination.

However, the analysis also showed the highest risk for establishing a resistant strain occurs when a large fraction of the population has already been vaccinated but the transmission is not controlled.

So what the heck are you actually saying? That someone made up the time that the delta variant came into being? This is such garbage post it should be flagged as "off-topic".

Agree but look how long it took to snap that narrative. The truth is whatever they want it to be. They wanted it to be the lab now for some reason so now it is the lab...kinda anyway. China is still saying no so in their country it is false.

The question to really ask at this point is: Is the Delta variant really more deadly and severely symptomatic, or are we seeing the effects of Antibody Dependent Enhancement in real time?

I'd love to see the stats of the Delta variant only from winter to spring of this year versus after April when vaccinations really exploded. Having that information might just very well start answering that question.

a reply to: enamentI think that the Delta did come from India but was only discovered to be a different type in February. We only know that it started before last February so far.

The delta variant was first identified in October 2020 on India and the vaccines did not begin there until January so I suppose you've got a good three months to look at a bit of data to see if that looks plausable.

It's not much of a timeframe and India does not have a great record of accuracy with statistics on covid due partly to the sheer size of the population and that a lot of it is pretty rural.

Yeah, I understand that the logistics suck, but I'm a big fan of data, and it would certainly be nice to have for the critical thinkers amongst us.

I think it would be a very complex task if we knew the figures were both reliable and not tampered with.

The fact that there's going to be an element of both involved makes it pretty futile.

The only real chance you've got is to keep your head down and keep busy for the next twenty or so years.

By then we should have enough reliable data and blown whistles to see what's really going on.

Yeah...and follow the mantra of "trust but verify," and if you can't verify, I guess you can't trust.

According to the actual data, the Delta variant ISN'T more deadly. Just more contagious.

Exactly how all corona virus mutate pretty much.

the way i understand there are four variants of concern in the U.S., and others of interest
the 4 of concern are

Alpha, detected in the United States in December 2020. first detected in the United Kingdom.

Beta , detected in the United States in January 2021.first detected in South Africa in December 2020.

Gama, detected in the United States in January 2021. first identified in travelers from Brazil, who were tested during routine screening at an airport in Japan, in early January.

Delta, detected in the United States in March 2021. It was initially identified in India in December 2020.

here is a link with the 4 and the others of interest,

If you stiff believe what is coming out of the government at this point the best that can be said to describe that person would be a useful idiot.
