It's like today...when he looked at the sky and raised his hands and stated that he was the one chosen...

I watched it, and in this very thread even I said I agreed with quite a lot of what he said. That one I think is being taken a bit too literally, the chosen one can simply mean elected. I think his repeated use of Sleepy Joe Biden took away from his message though.

Sometimes he says some really funny stuff, the tweets in this thread though are more counter productive in my opinion. And I think if Trump carried himself with more professionalism most of the time, and used his off the cuff zingers more rarely, they'd be more effective and carry more weight.

I don't foam at the mouth over everything Trump does, and I often defend him or his positions when his opponents are wrong... But there are times where I think it's our duty to criticize him. Blind support for any elected official is just asking for trouble. Just look at how the media fawned over Obama just to have one of the most authoritative governments towards journalism in return.

I'm not comparing Trump to Hitler, some other poster brought up how Twitters compare him to Hitler.

Me? I'm comparing Trump to the Anti-Christ.

He has surpassed Hitler.

sure you are not

Oh, I so glad you posted this little gem!!
Does the Jewish religion even have a first coming of god in their belief system? You'd think that someone could have run this by Ivanka or Jared before this hit his Twitter feed. I mean that are part of his family.

But, let's all bow down to the new king of kings I guess...

sorry
I don't find hitler jokes funny.
Especially when the joker has to "clarify" them.

thanks tho

The sarcasm in Sook's post was evident. How did you manage to miss it? There was no implication beyond: "Not mini-boss Hitler anymore, he's a World Boss Anti-Christ level baddie now, lulz."

Which is kinda funny in itself. Next level kind of joke.

You're either in Willful Ignorance Mode here, or are just not that bright...It was not a literal comparison, he was mocking Twitter, for F's sake.

It is this kind of stuff that makes people think he isn't right in the head. I can only guess that he has surrounded himself with yesmen that are incapable of pulling him aside to tell it to him straight.

2020 really depends on if he can restrain himself because no one else is going to.

What's not surprising is Trump adopting the moniker of King of Israel and the Second of God.

seems your reading skills are in question as well
Wayne Allen Root said those things
Trump was thanking him for the kind words

Cause you know hitler was famous for thanking people for kind words

You know how many children are praised by their parents for doing this or that? How a child might sing a lot and the parents tell them they are ''great'' and keep it up? All that encouragement stuff? How many children grow up believing that even an average skill or level of ability is something more, something exceptional? How many prep to be a singer or a musician or whatever only to find well along their path that in reality they are only at best, average?

I think that has been the case with Trump. His parents wanting him to reach his full potential praised all that he did as a child to encourage him to meet his potential.

Then daddy gave him a couple million to start off with and over time bailed out some of his failures all the while encouraging him succeed.

But be that as it is, once he had money to work with, one of the things that was attracted to him was, more money. People wanted to put their money where richer pockets were investing in order to soar on the coat tails of a winner. Kind of like when one guy at the wheel in a casino is hitting one bet after another, people tend to bet on the same numbers the winner is betting on.

Well Trump has always had money or at least a line of credit that others considered to be worth some investment in, then leading Trump to believe that his investments were wise.

I think that Trump has for so long been surrounded by people like this, people who want to bet on investments that will bring them quick term returns in his wake have helped him promote a lot of his endeavors. In this same vein, there is ample appearance that many like Root are sycophants and toadies that want to gain power and or authority by sucking up to him and in so doing, feed his already established high opinion of himself. He soars on the wings of praise by people who quickly return to him praise for every notion that pops into his head. See? See? People love me, people agree with me, when in reality they are only sucking up to him.

This Root character seems to be a flighty soul, flitting from party to party trying to fit in yet only managing a second or third tier level of authority in his attempts to move higher on the food chains of power. In this case, his praise for Trump has been a sycophant's worship and Trump in his needy way has sucked it all up as proof of is own superiority.

I know a lot of people don't see the big deal, and I'd be willing to bet that's because of their religious affiliation.

I personally am agnostic, I think most religions are beautiful if practiced without dogma... But I don't like it mixing with politics beyond a politician saying what religion they practice, and certainly not imposing it on the people.

But imagine if Omar tweeted someone calling her the Queen of Saudi Arabia and equivocation her as the second coming of Allah. And if something like that happens, people will defend it with instances like this.

I guess since the Dalai Lama died, China needs a new "Chosen One". Trump thinks he's the one.
LOL

After all the useless rhetoric and actions from prior administrations, with Trump leading the charge, if course he is the chosen one.

Goddamn I love how that triggers you people, lmfao
