But imagine if Omar tweeted someone calling her the Queen of Saudi Arabia and equivocation her as the second coming of Allah. And if something like that happens, people will defend it with instances like this.

no doubt people would compare her to hitler.....

And her saying it was a joke or to enrage her oposition wouldn't calm the discussion at all.

Not sure, leftist don't think beyond the soundbites, if it "feelz" like a "shot" or "hit" they'll run with it till they realize how ridiculous they sound.

I mean, Trump is the Chosen one, after all, only he has the power to trigger large swaths of people beyond their own self control, I mean, what power does ONE individual have over these people? It's amazing and impressive to say the least.

Ya, I have a friend who is on Facebook who reposts a bunch of crap who comes back me with her oh, i dont believe that.. I cant get it into her head that is you repost a stupid idea, you seem to be supporting said idea.
"Thanking him for his kind words"...
For some reason, I would be horrified if some wacko was.trying to elevate me to the position of godhood. I wouldn't be helping the wacko spread his insanity around. Historically. The gods that come to earth aren't treated too kindly. They usually end up being murdered by the mass of people they were "sent" to save.

You'll get use to it.

The left can't claim any moral ground and we already know that TDS is a real thing.

Let these people hate imo 😌 sane thinking individuals KNOW BETTER.

I mean, no matter how serious someone is being, if they throw me a lay up I can't help myself. The Flying Spaghetti Monster made me this way.

I watched a documentary a few months back that touches on the point you made... And it's a very interesting one, and one to definitely consider.

The tricky part is I can't confidently gauge someone unless I meet them and spend some time with them. I can't tell where his showmanship begins and ends, and where his true self fills the voids.

I haven't heard of that movie, and I watched the trailer.... I cannot wait. It looks really good. I love a good satire piece, that one seems promising.

I think he is just one of those people with no filter.
It is why his twitter is so eclectic.
The msm would NEVER have portrayed a potus in that light.
He is his own worst enemy at times, but it is him.

Yes, that is how it works. Anti-Semites are created when Jews are demonized. That's exactly how it works.

So who is going to turn into an anti semite because Trump is telling American jews they should vote for republicans because democrats hate israel?

Im to believe some guy out there loves israel, and is inspired by trump to hate jews that vote for democrats, and so now he hates jews?

What absolute nonsense.

How is saying all of Democrats hate Trump just because a few of them are very outspoken not playing the same way the Dems played in 16'?

It's the same identity politics. The same as calling the Right deplorables and bigots.

Most Jewish American's are Democrats.... And many Democrats have dual citizenship.

The rhetoric and hyperbole is getting thick again, and it's not even that close to 2020.

Most American's aren't bigots... Very few from either party or independents are bigots.

Lol, haven't watched the news, i just ran across a video that was about it. And, if course this thread.
Trump has more influence than the person who posted the video. More followers on Twitter. And, of course the major news outlets will cover all his tweet, regardless of how insane they sound.
If trump didn't want people to think some see him as god incarnate or whatever, he didn't have to bring it up on his Twitter feed. Dont blame TDs or whatever, blame trumps twittering fingers!

I can follow your path to psychoanalyze him and agree with a chunk of it, but you left out key elements such as the skills he gained in his career progression that not too many people get chance at, his experience in dealing with people at all levels, showmanship that so many loved before he became President, and so much more of what makes Trump, Trump.

We can do the same psychoanalysis process on Obama and it would not look any better, so I'm not sure your point in it all is, but as long as Trump works to achieve his campaign promises then he is actually achieve things that most Presidents in the past failed to do or even try to attempt.
