Some YouTube patrons were complaining about a link from the Notre Dame fire to 9/11. YouTube said it was basically an algorithm glitch and removed the link. A theory sprung up that its a premonition, and that Rome was next and something about watching for a meteor.

Then let's discuss the symbology of this... it's weird the way the media are reporting this, as if it is a tragedy for Europe when the reality is many couldn't give a truck. They want bread on their table and a roof over their head, what have the French people been asking for during the last 22 weeks of protests? Something the media has largely ignored.

True, but people like pride in things. This, of course, could be looked at from a conspiratorial level of being a perfect FF at the time the people were perturbed over politics…over neo-liberal cutbacks.


What must be understood (not to get off topic) is that Europe has been deliberately economically depressed by neo-liberalism (too many socialistic goods for the people, unlike America where they don't even give people health insurance) and they might need a cultural punch in the gut like this to distract.
