Let's be honest. If something happened at the Kaabah around Mecca during the annual pilgrimage like this, people would be suspicious too that it was some kind of arson or attack even if there was reason to believe it could easily be an accident.

Let's be really honest, no they wouldn't, it would likely be presumed accidental and investigated to find the truth. This paranoia doesn't run both ways...

In terms of ATS, Ket's right, most people on here would be suspicious of intent. I don't know if she was referring to ATS alone or not, though.

My mistake then, I had read it to mean those at the Kaabah, not ATS. Though there would be some who called arson I doubt they would be as numerous as those blaming this on muslims...

Everything in the Christian tradition is Easter related.
Without the resurrection there is no Christianity.
Every statue related to Jesus in one way or another.

The firefighters have stopped the fire "from spreading to the northern Belfry" (Twitter, Matt Lee, @DiploWriter).

The structure is not a total lost. Lots of damage though.

Most places dont install sprinklers on the roof.
They go under the roof. Maybe God can make it rain up but for the rest of us we have to use gravity.

And no one has even brought up a possibility of anything untoward in the regular coverage either. So far, this is just likely a construction incident. They won't really know until they investigate, and even then, we may not really know or believe them because this is ATS. Look at how people treat 9/11 even today.

While I agree with you to an extent, as a 9/11 OS non believer (neither am I part of the holographic plane brigade) I don't think it's really comparable but I get what you're trying to say, I think

I'm only saying that because of the circumstances of all the other church arsons and vandalisms in France these past couple of months and because of the importance of the cathedral as a symbol and to history and because of the timing - this is High Holy Week to Christians - almost no matter what the official results are, there are those who will likely be suspicious.

We have sent people to moon, we have put robots on other planets but a simple fire can destroy our cultural heritage in a heartbeat?!

Yea. but you can't have a cathedral full of artifacts like it's an antique shop. They most likely have a storage to cycle through the hundreds they have. It's not a museum, it's a place of worship.

Which one would that be?

The one from the 6th century with a pedo as a patriarch.

Isn’t there a card in the game of Illuminati that shows this church burning down?

Can't blame them. They should be suspicious considering the bits that have come out in this thread alone.

I imagine it involves ‘diversity’. And followers of a pedophile.

I doubt that I’m wrong

Or that it was a god sent message.
