a question for you regarding the quadrigacx situation.

it seems that the firm appointed to oversee gerald cottens venture have discovered that the digital wallets are empty to the tune of £105m/$137m.

is there any recourse through insurance for clients to recover any lost assets or is the fact that the wallets are empty a hinderance to compensation.

It looks like those wallets have been empty since April of 2018..

As far as recovery, it depends on a lot of factors. Right now the FBI and the RCMP are investigating, insurance may cover the losses, but that depends on whether crypto assets are insurable under Canadian law. Having a criminal probe into the situation helps but that is only assuredly true in the US. I know little of Canadian finance and insurance law regarding crypto.

Just remember this:

If you dont hold your keys, it's not your crypto. If you hold your keys it's your crypto. If you dont hold your keys, you're going to get robbed.

I'm mulling over the idea of cutting my alts in half back to BTC if we cross 4k.

There's been lots of pressure at that mark and if we cross it, by 100 or so, it may spark a good rise.

Yep. I just bought a lot of LTC, BTC, and BAT.

I'm running a full node for LTC and BTC on the lightning network now. I'm gonna do what I can to speed up adoption in my area.
