Crap, I only have 8 more beers.

How long is this gonna take?

Yeah Loretta, hear that?

He looks grandfatherly and kind.

Good sense of humor I bet, even when he's not joking.

He's happy.

No more voices of protest?

Who are the gals with the pink crowns? I couldn't read what's on them.

Drug gangs, good, lock them up!

Divisive play ma'am, at @2:40-- "the attorney general must put aside loyalty to the president--" (because its Trump now), lol.

Is he gonna be as tough on crime as Janet Reno?

More loud mouths!!

Don't taze me bro.

Get their names, Jeff!

Once confirmed, Sessions really needs to punish the uncivilised who think they can impinge on others' rights with no accountability for their actions.

It's the law, already on the books.

Can't get away with that anymore.

I'm glad.

Keep the country safe by lawful means.

"Schooling" him? On what? How to lie, cheat and rig and still lose an election? How to be a massive hypocrite?
Feinstein or any other Democrat there today have no right to question the integrity, ethics or honesty of anyone else. They are there not to judge the fitness of this man, but to try to drag his name through the mud and deny him the office, just to spite Trump.
Pathetic and spiteful because they didn't get their way.

I know, right?!

I was just minding my own biz when I heard wtf she was saying.

So I had to start this thread.

He's done with his opening statement.

Let the inquisition begin!!

I think he's done....

I wonder what the maximum punishment is.. If he could send these people to jail, that would be great.

So far I like his speech. Enforce the laws, and assist local law enforcement to do so too. No special interests (now we know why some are screaming out against him). He even stated he will not be rubber-stamping the President.

Went to take the oath and held that right hand high. Sessions has integrity... which is another reason his hecklers are so terrified.

Morons?
Their right. You mean .
Oh wait...not American. Sorry...

There is a line between protest and disruption . Also , does the Freedom of Speech include the right to show the world what an ignorant set of jacka**es they are? Damn , they need to learn good old southern values.

Well said. "Uphold the law" of and by the law makers, whatever law they make. "Punish the race haters, the polluters" blah blah, they are really schooling the largely ignorant masses with their facade of decency, hiding a world of hurt going down on foreign lands and on the American people themselves.

Excuse me while I hurl my dual natured vomit below the table.

Oh yeah!

Crap, I wouldn't want to be on the other side of his bench.

See him smile talking about upholding the law?

All they have is the standard unfounded 'wacist' accusations.

"Don't Tell ME NO!"

It's Trump moron, not Obama.

He wants to hear it.

Is Grassley a hostile or devils advocate?

Fed meddling in local affairs? That isn't assisting, thats big brother. Eventually the fed takes charge.

Local pd eventually becomes federal police. You do see that?

Sessions has a lot of respect in the Senate, but not many friends. He tends to say what he thinks is right, public opinion be damned. I have seen him chew the Senate out on issues, from the Senate floor.

He'll recuse himself from anything Clinton?

Cool.

Good for him.

Good for the country.

Bad for the Clinton's.

Don't like that he side stepped the Clinton issue and will recuse himself.

He's clearly talking about assisting as in making databases and information available. I think you're confused. This isn't Loretta Lynch. It's Jeff Sessions.
