Back off dude. I'm not trying to attack Ron Paul.

LOL, I'm no Paulite. Although I think he could have been a much better choice than Romney or McCain.

However, it sounded like you were offended that I put Bernie and Trump in the same level as Ron Paul as he was not worthy of it.

No I see the reasoning that you are talking about by comparing the twos' campaigns to Paul's. I just think that they've evolved past that stage at this point though. Paul is a trailblazer though.

Trump is positioning himself for a 3rd party bid. Many of his supporters will bail and go back to mainstream the GOP because they know full well that 3rd parties are losers and they don't want to waste their vote against the Dembs.

I never really thought Trump wanted to be a politician...he just wanted attention. He got it....

Don't count on "many" of Trump supporters going back to the "mainstream" GOP. That's the reason they support Trump in the first place, they're tired of establishment "politics as usual".

And that should make the DNC very happy. The dembs can't win....but the GOP will lose. They can't even come up with a viable candidate; just like the Romney, Palin/McCain comedy of errors.

It matters not to me in the slightest.

I won't vote for him on the GOP ticket, and I won't vote for him as an independent.

But... As an independent he would take votes away from the GOP candidate, helping a certain amoral shyster type whose sole claim to fame is being someones wife. I name no names... ...and that is a truly terrifying prospect.

Taking my money to pay for tuition and healthcare for those that don't want to pay for their own like I've always had to do is NOT integrity. I get taxed enough, and taxing me even more just to cover those costs is NOT how I'd like to envision America's future. Trump is honest about what he says, and that's why people hate him. Matter of fact, Bernie has his enemies as well because he's honest about what he wants. I think both candidates are being honest, however, I don't fall in line with Bernie's idea of socialism. Personally, I don't know why or how anybody else could unless they don't mind taking from everyone else and not working for what they get. Ironically, people like you fear Trump, and at the same time, claim he's appealing to those who fear.

I haven't heard anything coming out of Trump's mouth that I would call honest. Everything I've heard has been pandering nonsense and hyperbole intended to appeal to people who don't know how consequences of actions works.

I fear Trump because he stands for everything that ISN'T American. I want to preserve the Republic, not destroy it with fascist tendencies.

Well that's your opinion, which is the opposite of the majority of Americans. We want a change, a drastic change from what we currently have. I consider Trump's words to be honest and the truth is, neither of us will know whether or not they are unless he is elected president. I gotta ask, if you thinks he's always lying, why are you so worried about what he says?

Trump is still losing in the general election buddy. I don't know where you got this "the opposite of the majority of Americans" bit, but you are wrong. The majority of conservatives? Now I can agree with that claim. But majority of Americans? Nope.

Oh please the average hours worked in the US is over 40 hours. Most people who can't afford these basic things are working 48 to 60+ hours per week, and have the choice to either do that and go to school or not go to school. Don't know if your one of those rare superhuman snowflakes, but most people can't work those kind of hours and handle school at the same time. Our economic system has become ludicrous, and am sick and tired of hearing about people who work more hours a week than serfs did, and getting chronic health conditions as a result, and rarely seeing family or friends being called LAZY!!! Serious screw you and everyone like you that dares tell people that damn near literally work their fingers to the bone are lazy.

I'll be working 60 hours this week, in hard manual labor, after work each day I need to go through a routine to keep my body functional which takes time out of my day as well, right now I can barely close my hands into a fist, but I'm still going into work tonight to work 12 hours. Tell me I'm lazy. I get to look forward to one day off each week, one day to get all my major housework done, AND somehow heal physically, tell me I'm lazy.

Funny how you could see and hear things so differently than a large percentage of Americans. He wants to shut down open door policy immigration, he wants to put a hold on Syrians coming until there is a better vetting process(god forbid we actually make sure people are who they say they are), he wants to stop incentives for industry to take business out of our country, he wants an improved healthcare system(because Obamacare sucks for the ones that actually need it), he says he want to make America great again, and to me that was before the days of Obama, (and Bush2 for that matter).

No one can predict what a new president will bring, but the path we are on is weak and a loser, no one is happy these days, we all are working harder than ever for less. Obama and company (congress too) has progressively created this national feeling of tension, loss, and hopelessness.

Just read on another forum that huge numbers of Floridians are switching to republican to vote for Trump. And Florida is as we know, an important state. I think you are underestimating his appeal wildly. Your link seems biased.

Unconstitutional. Especially the part about not letting Muslims into the country.

he wants to stop incentives for industry to take business out of our country,

All of which are likely impossible or will severely damage our world relations. Most of what Trump wants to do is fight the future here, but as an employer of illegal immigrants himself, Trump already knows the writings on the wall there. Though I'm sure he likes telling you he can do something.

Trump has a healthcare plan? Lol.

Make America Great Again, 2016's version of "Hope and Change". America is already great by the way, we aren't exactly terrible...

I can make reasonable predictions based on what he's saying. I feel like you will be in for a HUGE disappointment come November when you find out that America doesn't want to move back into the past as much as you think it does.

That's because you've never heard of fivethirtyeight.com. I mean you are trying to trump data conducted and presented in this article with vague references to data that may or may not have been collected in Florida all based on a forum post you read. Lol. That's not going to cut it, "Mr. Biased". Don't tell me about what you may have read in another forum. Just produce the evidence. I'm not going to believe you until you do anyways.

He wants to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it (insert eye-roll emoji here).

We already have a very strict vetting process (maybe the strictest in the world) for Syrian refugees.-
time.com...

He is one of the ones who took business out of our country.

Everybody wants an improved healthcare system - big deal. How's he gonna do it? Go back to what we had before?

He wants to make America great again. Wow, that's original - never heard any politician say that before.

He signed a voluntary pledge. As I recall, he made no demands or conditions in his pledge. The GOP owes him nothing, and has no obligations under his little signed "contract" he made a big deal out of.

This is just a media attention scam by him, he's not getting the limelight enough apparently.

You can't just sign a voluntary contract and complain because the other party (who never signed it or consented to it) does something you don't like.

This is a really, really stupid argument.

He's pretty much throwing a temper tantrum because the GOP was mean to him. Well if he didn't spend every waking moment of the campaign trail insulting everyone else, people wouldn't be mean to him. Basically, he can't take what he's been shoveling out.

What the # are you talking about? Maybe you need to catch a power nap, you're bitching at me in response to a post that doesn't relate to one single thing in your reply.

Are you referring to my dislike of Bernie Sanders because I want others to get off their ass and work to pay for their own healthcare and college tuition like I had to do? And what the hell is a rare superhuman snowflake? I'm not in the BLM club. I worked 10 years in the oilfield, 70 hours a week, minimum. Been there, done that, and in my current job, I spent almost all of 2008, 2009, and 2010 on the road away from my family, missing every single holiday and having to schedule birthday parties for my kids on weekends I thought I might be home those three years.

The point is it's become such that most people CAN'T pay for those things like they used to, cause jobs don't pay like they used to, or the cost for these these things has skyrocketed, pick your choice, and your bitching that because of pay lowering or prices skyrocketing people need help with things that were once affordable but aren't now. You want people to pay because you did, but it's not that simple and these people are working their asses off for less.
