I don't like sarcasm so therefore it is a stupid argument strategy

Today someone was being sarcastic on the Internet. I don't personally like sarcasm therefore it is an invalid form of argument. Especially when that person takes my beliefs to the logical conclusion. I don't like my deeply ingrained beliefs challenged or criticized. I refuse to reexamine my ideologies and I will defend them without question.

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit or something, maybe. Anyone who uses sarcasm is an idiot and most likely liberal and gay.

This is a cry to ban sarcasm on ATS! Everyone vote in this thread, down with sarcasm! Hail Mary! Scooopitoldoop!

Well, I LIKE sarcasm! Sarcastic Lives Matter! Some of my best friends are sarcastic.

My parents raised me to be fearful and judgmental of sarcasm, but when I got out in the world, I realized that they were just scared by what their parents had taught them. I learned that sarcastic people were just like me. Except for the sarcasm, of course.

On a scale of purple, I'm GREEN about sarcasm!

I know I have lots of detractors, but this is my opinion, and I'm sticking with it.
