hm, only on CNBC news this morning, they said that the virus could become more dangerous as it mutates... and that it is mutating fast

That's true - it could.
More commonly, they become less lethal not more so.

Just wanted to let you know that the first two cases in Texas were not in Mexico or in contact with any other known cases as well. How they got the virus is still a puzzle to the CDC, but in my opinion, all of us in southeast Texas pass someone that has recently been to Mexico at least once a week. It could be while at work or the local grocery store, you just never know.

The Texas cases are especially puzzling. One of the California cases — the 10-year-old boy — traveled to Texas early this month, but that was to Dallas, about 270 miles northeast of San Antonio. He did not travel to the San Antonio area, Schuchat said.

Likely, yes. This is the WHO Definition of Threat Level 4:

Phase 4 is characterized by verified human-to-human transmission of an animal or human-animal influenza reassortant virus able to cause “community-level outbreaks.” The ability to cause sustained disease outbreaks in a community marks a significant upwards shift in the risk for a pandemic. Any country that suspects or has verified such an event should urgently consult with WHO so that the situation can be jointly assessed and a decision made by the affected country if implementation of a rapid pandemic containment operation is warranted. Phase 4 indicates a significant increase in risk of a pandemic but does not necessarily mean that a pandemic is a forgone conclusion.

N.C. official: Swine flu cases suspected
www.wral.com...

Raleigh, N.C. — The state's health director said Monday afternoon that there are suspected cases of swine flu in North Carolina, but declined to say how many cases or where they were located.

Dr. Jeffrey Engel said Monday evening that officials are involuntarily isolating patients who may have the virus. He declined to specifically say how many suspected cases were in the state, noting that the number is always changing, and he declined to say where they were located.

"We're working very closely with providers, and they are investigating cases on a daily basis," Engel said. "It's a very fluid situation and there will be suspect cases. People travel all the time."

Connecting the dots....

This last Sunday, April 26, 2009 (yesterday) the "Festival De La Familia" was held at CalExpo, the site of the California State Fair, in Sacramento, California.

The annual event, celebrating the heritage of twenty different Hispanic cultures with food, games, music, and dance, was attended by aproximately 20,000 people from all over northern and central California.

How many of them have recently returned from visits to Mexico, or have friends and/or family who are recent returnees?

Now that would be key to understanding how this novel virus made it's way to the Sacramento Valley!

Did anyone else read that the child from St.Mels who came down ill first had been to Mexico?

I have to check this out!

I have been racking my brain trying to remember a story I read a couple of months ago about a DHS contractor running empty buses around in the Desert in Arizona.

So...last night, after a number of different combination searches, I found the story I had read. Not suprisingly, I found several blogs, but traced the original story back to InfoWars.com. Thats right...Alex Jones.

So I know some folks think he is sensational and all, but nonetheless, this story just smacked of bad bandini when I read it. Then, when the story breaking about the flu became bigger and more concrete, I remembered the strange story about buses and the desert. So what is the connection? Here is an excerpt from the story...

I was disturbed by a story of strange goings on in the desert. A little over a year ago, it seems, a new industrial facility sprang up on the edge of town. It was in a remote industrial zone and appeared to be a bus depot. The new enterprise was surrounded by an imposing security fence and bore no outward signs identifying its services. However, it soon became apparent that the compound was in the business of outfitting a fleet of prison buses. Thirty or so secondhand city buses were being reconfigured with prison bars in the windows .....The new Wackenhut operation is shrouded in mystery. It has been running its fleet of empty prison buses night and day, apparently logging miles on a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract. Multiple buses can be seen driving all over town and even on remote desert back roads. Oddly, except for the driver and one escort guard seated in front, these buses are always empty......

Recently, a passerby observed what appeared to be a training operation there. In what seemed to be strange activity for 10:30 PM on a Saturday night, the depot yard was fully illuminated, the entire fleet of buses was up and running, and drivers and guards were scrambling around the yard. The question is, what were they training for? .....
........Among the few who have noticed, one theory is that the prison bus depot is simply infrastructure for border security. But if so, where are the illegal aliens? Why are these buses always empty?.........
.........There is another interesting piece to this puzzle. On the desolate plain between Phoenix and Tucson is a tiny town called Florence, Arizona, which features a population consisting largely of prisoners. For decades, Florence has been the home of two of the largest county and federal prisons in the state; and in 2007, a vast new DHS prison was built there as well. Like the Wackenhut buses, this shiny new facility, which literally disappears into the horizon, has gone unannounced and unnoticed by the general public. A new facility for imprisoning illegal aliens?

Full Article Here

So this maybe a piece of the puzzle. Jones would have remembered this, and no wonder he is so keyed in on this being an engineered virus.
This is starting to really really give me the creeps.

Any takers?

Interesting...we love links

While so far the U.S. is experiencing milder cases than Mexico...you never know how this will turn out, especially considering that this fall we will all be dealing with the same thing.

WoW!!! i just looked at the RSOE map and its saying there are atleast 100 suspected in NYC! Thats crazy, i live near Rochester, thats pretty darn close considering it made its way up to NY in about a day or two... I also saw on the google map that it was about 100~ miles from Rochester.. this is insane... I hope someone finds a cure... but what im really worried about is the freakin' NWO spreading it... i hope i dont know anyone who contracts it.. it would be so painful..
