Telling theists that their God does not exist, is, indeed, an attempt to shove one's BELIEF down someone's throat. That is active anti-theism. You have done that often.

You made seven hostile comments about Christians, to other individuals, and to myself, since my first post in this thread. I haven't made, even, the first one! As it truly is... I have only addressed your words, and your perceived actions.

If you disagree with that assessment, kindly provide linked quotes, so that I may properly address them.

With that out of the way, I would like to see your answer to a simple, but pertinent question:
Do you support an individual's freedom to believe, or to not believe, as they may?

That was the essence of this post.

I had to laugh at this from page 1 of this thread as it is textbook of todays educated..or put another way ..education is now turned into intolerance and censorship and down right rudeness.

If you're truly wanting to learn something, first start with proper English spelling and grammar.

Then, and only then, you can start with the complexities of trying to equate a religious point of view, or non-religious POV, with economic theories, especially those that were enforced at gunpoint rather than with atheistic ideals.

My apologies if English is a second or third language for you, but really, you can't think with complexity in any particular language until you've mastered it enough to be able to write a simple paragraph.

To put it another way, yes, you're looking for a fight and two, you're not educated enough yet to go there. Maybe put down the bible and read some other stuff now. You'll find there's these places called 'libraries' which have a huge assortment of other ideas and knowledge available for free.

(Sigh. I'm really starting to want to request that all the bible-thumpers stick to the technology described in the OT and NT only. Since apparently your god wasn't up to inventing computers or mass communication apart from random visions, maybe stick to town cryers, your sundry prophets, and legends told around the campfire for your informational resources...)

I am not interested in the spelling and grammer police. This is often a thin attempt at censorship and rudeness...pecking order or one upmanship. It is not a good debate point on a board like this.


What is worse to me is that many this type of educated people are now our leaders with a sense of "Entitlement." this is become clear to many out here.

Would that I had a better education than what I possess but at the same time I have worked around alot of engineers and so called educated types. I would not give them a wrench or trust them to feed my pets. With a wrench some of these educated types can get you killed..so be careful as to what you think is today educated . Also remember many of these same educated and intolerant lots are todays leaders.

Dont let them try to intimidate you with education as if it is the tell all and know all of everything. It is not.

Notice carefully that RJ Rummell is describing the last 100 years. The last 100 years is the time of education...enlightenment...reason..illuminated people running the world.

Yet we have some estimated 262 million people being killed by their own governments and not in times of war..but in addition to wars.

This puts a stark contrast to education and what is taught to most people..even by leadership financing public education.

What is of interest to me is how many of these people were killed by their own government in Communist/anti God/anti religion nations where as Hegel stated..."The State is God."

Be very careful here what one thinks is education..much is often missing from our thinkingt and instead substituted with rudeness, crassness, and vitriol..in lieu of thinking and real exchanging of informations.

I will also remind the readers here that the communist nations are also very very devoutly, zealousely, and religious believers in education and higher learning. Even devoutly , zealously, and religiously believers in Science.
Hence I am very dubious when atheists attempt to use or misuse science as the new paradigm for their devout and zealous beliefs.

I will remind the readers here that the Muslim nations are also very devout about science. So some caution about science is needed here.

Remember this when Atheists are in boards like this and attempting to work you over the coals.

At the same time ..if your ministers are not teaching you about concepts like Democide and what it means and implies about the Word and also your understanding of the world around you...they are at fault as well for your ignorance and it ought not to be this way.
Not only that ..many of you Believers out here ought to know of this on your own..by reading and learning ...meaning know enough to check up on your ministers and find out what they are not teaching you. You might be surprised to find out what they are not teaching you...on purpose.


On the other hand ...for the Believers out here ...remember something ...about Science. Science has made a plethora of new products to sell and market to us in various ways. This plethora has not necessarily made us better people. It has, however, made us better consumers. Do not allow others to mark you in such ignorance about science and the education accompanying science and knowledge to the point you loose sight of this simplicity.

The quest here is not necessarily about Communism verses Atheism...it is about Absolute power..ie..Feudalism.

For the history reads that men have always tried to return to "Absolute Power" through religion or without religion and various systems have been devised by men to accomplish this.

Communism is only one such system
So too is Feudalism or what is sometimes called "Divine Right of Kings."

So too is Secularism or Humanism..and other anti religion systems. For when you look closely at these secular, socialist, Humanistic governments once again in like manner to Communism ..you wind back up at Hegel and "The State is God."
You just took a different road. You still wind up with a lack of individual liberty and freedom...individual ability to make choices for yourself.

And Power is a devout religious belief system to men who so covet it. Be Warned about this. Educate yourself.
Also the Bible or Word ...the contrast in these system is to be found in there for the perceptive...by the history of what happened.

Much of this in the Bible History and the quest for power is also to be found in Secular History and the Science of Archeology.
It is just that they are so seldom tied together for the student to see them for what they are. Either by secular teachers nor ministers.

Unfortunately the ministers of the masses are the public school teachers in the United States but we have much more compassionate citizens even out of the lot on the left.

In this topic I am going to try to ascertain the connection between atheism and communism, and I would like to try to make the link between the two philosophies.

Atheism is a lack of belief.

It's not a belief system, nor is it a philosophy.

Kind of how you're a Reality Atheist, because you believe in make-believe

I would love to see someone try to edit Wikipedia for each immoral atheist murderer who I have posted a link for... their "religion" is listed as Atheist.

Atheism is a philosophy and here we have an example of the moral code of this said philosophy, does it matter for one atheist who may not be filthy? no because they are not the authors of history.
