Very interesting video. Paul Hellyer strikes me as very credible. I also see Richard Dolan sitting next to him and Dolan is a very very credible Ufologist who stays away from the nutjobs.

The topic got a good airing in multiple threads (that got deleted because people kept posting without bothering to do a search) at the time when it was news.

For people new to it: Paul Hellyer has good credentials, but ultimately he's just going on second hand stories that he heard, and no first hand knowledge.

I agree thats the thread i was talking about, it was the same video but its been removed. Probably because the mock hearing its taken from was only there to make money and they want people to pay for the video.

I remember because i posted on the first page.

Did not get far into the video.
Who was the "young man from otowa" who converted him to ufology ?

Some unamed dude in nova scotia cound give me material that said 4 races of giants lived in

That does not make it true.

This video is not disclosure it is a video of a nice old fella telling ufo stories.

To add to this as well about Richard Dolan,

Dolan's two books UFOs and the National Security State are interesting works. This was a time when he would clearly differentiate between what was fact and what was his own speculation.

However his "Breakaway Society" theory that he has recently promoted is simply science fiction with a plot lifted from "Alternative 3" and the movie "They Live".

Dolan's lines are blurred now.

You may know what is fact or you may like to speculate on the reason for this?

Gosh, I thought disclosure would come with more than 5 pixels.

Well, hopefully other nations start coming out --- one can only hope.

If you had any notions that the Citizens Hearing on Disclosure was anything other than a money making venture promoted by Steven Bassett, well you can put those ideas to rest. The whole thing was for a movie that will feature Steve Bassett, of course, that I'm predicting will be another ego stroking on the scale that we saw with 'Sirius'.

Bassett is ordering a take down of any material concerning the Citizens Hearing and some people have been served notice

The breakaway civilization/society theory isnt exactly new though. Joseph Farrell has actually been one of the bigger proponents for it.
